25.01.2022 Hi we hope you're staying safe and well . We are still remaining closed but with the level of new covid cases falling things look promising. We will update clients when we know of a date we may reopen. At a guess it will be in a couple of weeks but as you know things change week to week.

24.01.2022 We've decided to reopen as of Tuesday may 5th. It will be only Matt with Shay returning at a later date. We will still be practicing social distancing with the overflow waiting outside. We may have a blackboard for people to write their names on in order of arrival to keep track of whose turn it is. There will be a chair for people to sit on outside ( old one got trashed). We thankyou for your patience during this closure and thanks for your loyalty. Please tell your friends and hope to see you soon

18.01.2022 We are required to introduce an electronic check-in system using the Service NSW app. so please install this on your smartphone and scan our QR code on entry. We appreciate your cooperation so we can abide by government requirements for our industry. For those without a smartphone there is a form to fill out on an iPad that we will provide.

16.01.2022 Corona Virus update. Please look after us by not coming in if you are coughing and unwell. We sometimes get a few clients saying ' I'm off sick from work' and they decide it's ok to come and get a haircut. Its not. We'll get sick . Please dont be one of those people.. especially now. Due to COVID-19 virus, please follow a few easy steps to ensure we all remain safe during this challenging time.. Please do not offer to shake hands. Refusal may offend. Please DO NOT come in to our shop if you are showing any signs or symptoms related to the flu or common cold. (Eg. sore throat, coughing, fever, runny nose, headache, diarrhoea, trouble breathing, sneezing)... If you do have any symptoms, or have had direct contact with someone who has shown symptoms, have been on a cruise ship in the last 2 weeks, or travelled overseas at all in the last 2 weeks, please stay at home and self isolate! Or if symptoms are worsening, seek medical advice from your doctor or local hospital. Wash your hands often. Use our facilities if needed.. Just ask. we continue to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene If there are a lot waiting in line consider waiting outside in open air. 02.01.2022 It is with much regret to announce that due to Covid 19 The Lane Way Barbers will close until further notice. I know this is short notice but with the risk of community transmission growing I feel it is in ours and our community's best interest that this happens. I believe this will be enforced on us anyway in coming days in stage 2 or 3 of the lockdown laws from government. It is impossible to apply the 1-2 metre social distancing guidelines set out by the government whilst working. I ask that you regularly check-in and follow our page to keep up to date with changes and when we may reopen. I ask that you remain loyal to us and understand my need to protect the safety of myself, my family, my staff and clients. It is a hard decision not taken lightly. Stay safe in these scary and confusing times and see you on the other side. Matt
