22.01.2022 A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Black & Blue book launch & exhibition opening on Thursday night in Melbourne, was so great to have you be a part of it. If you're in Melbourne and would like to see the collection of works, the exhibition will continue until December 15th at 45 Flinders Lane in Melbourne. The gallery is open from Tuesday to Friday 11am to 5pm & on Saturday from 12pm to 3pm. You'll be treated to a much more tangible and sensual experience of the imagery from the project through the fine art prints, boutique book and mini film documentary playing there. Finally thank you to Silvio Kramar Photography for so generously taking all of these great photos of the night.

11.01.2022 Hot off the press today is a wonderfully insightful viewing of the Light Collective’s Black and Blue:Coal or Coral Project very thoughtfully put together by the ABC Mix team Through this latest project we are aiming to use the artistic skills, vision and collective resources of the group to explore what is fast becoming one of the great global questions of our modern time Can we find a sustainable balance between our energy resource needs and the well-being our of world’...s great natural ecosystems? In this case we’ve chosen to use the powerful juxtaposition of the Great Barrier Reef and the nearby coal mining industry to symbolise that conversation. Check your local tv guides but the official viewings are today, Saturday at 18:30 on ABC Channel 24 and tomorrow Sunday on ABC 1 at 1:30 pm. 11.01.2022 Hard to believe it’s been a year already since we were preparing for one of the most exciting and challenging opportunities the group has had in our time together - preparing and delivering a Ted X Talk! We chose to speak about the power of visual art to influence - in this case using beauty, juxtaposition and metaphor in imagery from our Black and Blue Project to inspire greater awareness around global warming and the Conservation of our incredible Great Barrier Reef.
