We will now be running in conjunction with Cityprom - Launceston Central City lighting of the Christmas tree. 23.01.2022 Warning long post A heartfelt thankyou to everyone who came out and supported the Mad Hatters Twilight Festival (and the lighting of the Christmas tree) there are so many people to thank for bringing this night together, Kristy Parker who is meant to be on maternity leave has done a massive amount of work to organise the lighting of the Christmas tree event and a mountain of paperwork to cover both events, you are amazing! To the businesses who stayed open for the evening ...I know you already work long days but your support means the world! To Launceston Central City for collaborating with us to bring it all together. To City of Launceston Official for acknowledging the benefit of our event to our city and assisting us with funding! To all of the local businesses who provide entertainment, toilets, bins, face painting, jumping castles, balloons etc! To The HeartBeats for providing the music, to the people who came along for the makers market and to Chelsea and Jake for helping out so I can bring these events together! There are probably more people I should be thanking but the list is so long and thats what it takes to bring these events together, lots of time and energy and lots of people. This is not a post about any accolades or thankyous just a reminder that there are so many local people who love where they live and are working hard to bring this kind of event to our community. So next time you need something think local first, because if you dont support local you not only lose local businesses but you lose events like this! #communityconnection See more

22.01.2022 Get those fancy hats ready people! Tomorrow night we are teaming up with Cityprom - Launceston Central City and the lighting of the Christmas tree! There will be so much for you to see and do! In the Quadrant Mall you can choose from Knackwurst with saurekraut and mustard from Wursthaus Kitchen Launceston (and some sweet treats too and a sneaky wine), the usual deliciousness from The Dinner Belle (and the best Mad Hatter sweet treats!) and Holy Guacamole will be serving up t...heir mexican favourites as well as margaritas, wine and beers! There will be games down the Rabbit Hole (aka Dicky Whites Lane) 2 jumping castles and face painting! And we cant leave out the balls in the fountain which is always a favourite with the kids! The Roller Rockers will be belting out some tunes as well! Gourlays Sweet Factory will have their toffee apples too, YAY! Do some late night shopping and enjoy a mini local makers market too!Dress up or wear a fancy hat, or not, its entirely up to you! See more

19.01.2022 Oh my goodness!!! What an amazing night! The Quadrant was packed all night long! Thankyou so much everyone for supporting our event! We would love to see your pics so please share on our page! Nothing makes me happier than seeing the community support what we do! Thankyou to Kristy Parker for helping me bring it together!
