25.01.2022 I'll tell you what, when this virus crap is over and we can have people over, I am going to have the party to end ALL parties at my place. 2 bands playing..............The Marty Rose Band and Normie Rowe's band with Normie (I'm sure he would like to fly down for that) and EVERYBODY IS INVITED. It'll be summer I reckon by then, so this will be a pool party as well. We'll have a "margarita bar" and a "lifeguard" to save the drowning in my pool. So "BRING IT ON" And COVID-19...."Fuck Off" Any offers from my female friends to help with the food, graciously accepted See more

24.01.2022 A personal unpaid endorsement..The ARCOBAR..THEY ARE DOING GREAT TAKE-OUT FOOD..and they support live music..support them ...9551 1424

24.01.2022 The MARTY ROSE BAND LIVE...WESTERN UNION MAN....Once again live gig sound the very fab ..Matt Evans Evans Lighting and Sound ..the equally fab Glenn Allen on lights and camera and video editing.. apparently Glenn had problems with a glitch in his "gimble" so we hope the pencillin is working... :-) (WHAT'S A GIMBLE ANYWAY)..And the sound remixed by me in my loungeroom..if you don't like the sound ..blame Gil Matthews.. I mixed it on THE TANNOY MONITOR GOLD 15S he sold me 50 years ago.... We miss you all folks, but we'll be back very soon..maybe with an hour of video, but also a live gig at the Arcobar very soon...during this clip when Pip looks like he has rubbery lips..apparently that's the glitching gimble..I thought he looked perfectly normal..so there you go :-)..thanks Glenn Allen

23.01.2022 we are proposing a pay per view gig ..of this quality..this is the best I have seen on facebook of all the live performances...are you in ? to support what we are proposing?

14.01.2022 MRB ROCHFORD 16.11.19 ...Been a while

13.01.2022 Happy birthday Olga Dmitrieva we love you and can’t wait to see you at the next MRB gig

13.01.2022 Some good things happen during this COVID-19 time. A new AZTEC RECORDS release, arrived today. Jackie Orszaczky's album from 1975. I have to say, the music...ianship on this album is world class. Ive heard a lot of Australian Jazz fusion bands, but these guys take the cake. Graham Morgan on drums. Peter Jones on piano and John Robinson on guitar. Recorded at Trafalgar Studios in Sydney and Produced by Charles Fisher and John Sayers, it's one of those Aussie LP's that should have done a lot more than it did. Way before it's time and just an incredible album. First time ever on CD with a bonus track from Jackie's, Marsha Hines band days. Jackie of course was the founding member of the band SYRIUS and also played in Marsha Hines band as well. This is an album that just had to be released because it's up there with the likes of Frank Zappa, Weather Report etc. etc. Is available now at:- www.aztecrecords.com.au Jackie Orszaczky , a truly monster bass player See more

09.01.2022 How cool is this...it’s not for sale or released, but out very talented Gil Matthews has put two of our soon to be released songs on vinyl..the very first MRB record...the two songs were written by David Briggs and are brilliant...can’t wait for you to hear these songs and if we have any offers for the very first MRB double A side vinyl record..start the bidding

05.01.2022 the MRB LOVE THE ARCOBAR...SUPPORT VENUES THAT SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC. WE CANT WAIT TO GET BACK THERE ....FROM LOCKDOWN TO ROCKDOWN

05.01.2022 So the question is ..if the Marty Rose Band were to do a 45 minutes set as a pay per view only...not to be broadcast on Facebook publicly ever...with some new tunes in there , and fabulous sound and video that we have presented in our previous videos..How many of you would pay to view this one time only experience? Please give us an indication so we can decide whether this is an economic consideration..also keep in mind that if we don't get the support we won't do it .Just consider the possibilities..Sitting there at home with your favourite bevy ..A saturday night with no gigs to go to ..Hook your computer up to your stereo for the great sound we will deliver..put a price on that ...!! priceless :-)

04.01.2022 Hi all..well we’re back to lockdown and I personally feel for everyone in the music business and all the venues that support live music, it’s really important that when and if this Covid is dealt with please support the venues and musicians, MRB misses you all
