22.01.2022 Throwback to a job we completed a few months ago! The client contacted us because their existing gate was broken. We replaced it with this secret Merbau and cypress gate as they wanted something that was discreet and ‘hidden’. If something needs replacing you may as well do it in style right?! 21.01.2022 It may have been a cold and rainy weekend but that didnt stop us from getting these cypress posts in at our newest Northcote project. Stoked with how much progress we got done over the weekend. Well done boys

20.01.2022 As weve had quite a lot of new followers in the past few weeks we thought wed share 5 FUN FACTS ABOUT @themelbournechippy: 1. My misses is a logistics manager for a large renovation company who knows 90% of building materials like the back of her hand (comes in handy!) 2. Most hated job: Hands down installing or ripping out insulation 3. Had my entire car and tools ($45k in total) stolen early last year! Thankfully was covered for car insurance but only $8k of took insura...nce! Lesson learned; always have tool insurance up to date! 4. My favourite Carpentry work is decks, pergolas and laying flooring! I love to see jobs that you can physically see progress throughout the day 5. I just recently donated my boots to @bootsfortradies. 20.01.2022 Dividing walls dont have to be boring!!! Check out this custom dividing wall we created to divide a master bedroom wall into a walk in robe. We featured Jarrah timbers to tie into the exposed timber beams and natural features of this brick and mud brick home!

19.01.2022 With restrictions looking like they are starting to lift, what better way to celebrate than by building an outdoor pergola for our client to entertain under! We chose to use @colorbondsteel Diffused Ice to contrast with the Monument roof but to also allow natural light to penetrate through. We paired it with @duluxaus Surfmist for the flashings and think its come up quite schmick All materials sourced through @roofingoptionscentre

17.01.2022 Putting the finishing touches on a window recently built and installed at one of our latest jobs. 11.01.2022 What a ripper of a job! We completely transformed this facade at this Brunswick job (and it took a 7.5 meter high scaffold to do so)!!! We started by ripping all of the existing weather boards down due to them being rotten. At the same time we installed a new larger and more energy efficient window with mirrored tinting to reflect city views! We then wrapped the wall in sisalation paper and recladded it with @jameshardieau cement weatherboards. Very pleased with the outcome I must say!

10.01.2022 AfterDuringBefore Our Eltham clients lacked access to the backyard from the inside. In order to achieve this we made a brand new doorway from the existing bathroom and installed this beautiful timber external door!

08.01.2022 Before > After Another project completed a fabulous client who aimed to create a more functional outdoor space without being totally enclosed. Pergola constructed using cypress posts with Diffused Ice roof sheeting! Merbau deck coming shortly....

01.01.2022 The deck we were working on at our empty warehouse project in Footscray is completed and it looks great (swipe right to see the before)! The client chose composite decking from @outdureliving for a more durable and long lasting product

01.01.2022 Our latest bathroom renovation in Reservoir is all finished up now and ready for the tiling and fit off stage! This project began with rotted timber frames, damaged plaster and tiles popping off the walls due to water damage. I replaced timber frames, added a niche, installed all new insulation, hung new plaster and had our electrician install lights, fans and rough in for fit off stage!
