10.01.2022 Some people may have difficulty seeing my previous post, so here it is again... I had nearly a bucket full of gold in quartz specimens. The gold was small. I thought their might be 5 ounces in the lot. After having this parcel of specimens for a bit too long, I decided to crush them in one of my crushers. 09.01.2022 For those who have been following.... Yesterday (May 16th) I returned to hospital to have the pins removed from my foot. Although initially 3 pins were inserted, one broke early on and has given me considerable ongoing pain. The removal of the 4 pin bits was successful. I was in hospital overnight, and released this morning. My foots been sewn up after a fair intrusion in 2 places. Anyway, I have been given instructions for beneficial healing, which I intend to follow, So, ...this means I could be 6-10 more weeks of not being able to work. Sorry for this news. See more

09.01.2022 Got another one... It turned up in the mail today...

06.01.2022 I went to my Surgeon last Thursday for the first time since my foot operation on January 7th. I had xrays immediately prior to that. Xrays confirmed that the ongoing (sever) pain in my foot results from one of the Bolts/screws breaking. I am so sick of this, but have been ordered not to work for another 3 weeks. I am sorry for everyone who inconvenienced.

03.01.2022 The Mining Exchange Gold Shop will be open tomorrow (Tuesday) from about 10am until about 3pm (or later if it’s busy). It will then be closed so I can have my foot injury operated on, and recover. The Dr has told me to be off it for at least 4 weeks. If I am able, I might try a few hours a day, a couple of days a week in later January. I will post here and other sites those dates and times.
