24.01.2022 We are selling our beans for anyone wanting to brew coffee at home. As well as offering our Isabella blend we are now selling Schibellos premium Colombian Reserve and Foglia Organic blends. You can purchase 250g and 1kg bags. Colombian Reserve... A nutty and warm spiciness in the aroma leading to a sweet orange and chocolate flavour. With sweetness typical of Colombian coffees, the cup is elegant and has outstanding flavours. Foglia Organic This single origin coffee is certified organic by USDA and Fair Trade approved. Its delicate yet distinctive flavour together with moderate acidity, makes a cup with a light body and a floral note.

20.01.2022 Thank you to our community for keeping this small business going, and keeping our crew employed to keep the coffee flowing. Please understand that we are operating in a very different environment with restrictions in place to keep us all safe. Because of these restrictions, we now place a much greater importance on getting your order to you as quickly as possible.... To achieve this, its all hands on deck during busy periods, so please expect that there will be times when we need to put a hold on ordering food to focus on getting out the coffee orders quicker. We now have a larger number of customers phone ordering and we are doing our best to adapt to this dramatic change too. For the most part everyone has been patient and kind, but we have copped some unnecessary abuse. We realise that the changes weve all had to make are unsettling, but it does not justify abuse. Good news all of our takeaway coffee cups and lids are compostable. ~ as of Monday 23 March, we will be cashless. ~ we have a text for coffee number, if you would like this please direct message us. ~ we are setting up a Beem It account so youre able to order and pay through the app, making it easier to grab and go! 05.01.2022 Folks weve set up our Beem It app account making it easier for you to grab and go. Beem It is a free service that is safe to use - its owned by 3 of the big banks. So the first step is to install the app and spend a few minutes setting up.... Once youre set up and ready to order you will need to TEXT your exact coffee order (DM us for the number) and please allow at least 15 mins ETA. Once we receive your text we will send a pay request from Beem It, which you pay from your Beem It account. 02.01.2022 Today marks the start of National Homelessness Week. On Friday 9 August @theoldcornershop will be taking part in the annual CafeSmart Action Against Homelessness. We will donate $1 from every coffee sold on the day to help fund local homeless services. Last year we raised over $700 that was donated to a local youth service. See you all on Friday!
