09.01.2022 THE GM SELECTION PROCESS For your information, the main game in town is about delaying the appointment of a new GM to enable appropriate scrutiny by the Office of Local Government of the process used by the Administrator. We know that there were very good applicants, at least one of whom didn't even get an interview and another who wasn't shortlisted for the final round of interviews that occurred on 28 October. By all accounts it was a shonky process that deserves a simple independent review.
