17.01.2022 Cheeky Charlie. Charlie is our largest bird (of four) and at 26 weeks rules the roost at the moment. Chickens can play an important role in an Organic garden. During the 8 weeks of being a chicken owner, I've seen them gobble up insects like roaches, devour weeds like sour sobs, demolish kitchen scraps, turn over and fertilise soils and produce nutritious eggs.

16.01.2022 Today's friend, the bluetongue lizard. Keep water out for these legends and dogs well away. Cats usually won't attack due to their size, but dogs will. Always protect these beauties. Incredibly, when they find a mate, they mate for life!
