08.01.2022 Hi everyone, I would just like to show you all what our machine can produce in terms of both wood chips and leaf mulch. The chips are from a citrus tree recently put through our machine, while the leaf mulch was created with fallen oak tree leaves from last Autumn. Both products can (and have been) added directly to your garden beds or alternatively the leaf mulch can be used to create your own compost. The wood chips produced are only 10-15mm in size and are well suited to most domestic gardens.

Many horticulturists are now promoting the benefits of using bamboo as mulch for the following reasons: Bamboo mulch has a nitrogen draw down of around .2% compared with most other mulches that have a 20% draw down, meaning all minerals and nutrients are left in the garden for your plants instead of the applied mulch. Bamboo mulch is water permeable allowing your precious water to reach the soil instead of being absorbed by the... mulch. Bamboo mulch will last for around 18 months and once it has been applied and has settled, will not wash away in heavy rain and nor will it blow away in strong winds unlike many other mulches. Bamboo mulch effectively creates a micro climate that will keep your gardens cool in summer and warm in winter. It is also high in silica which improves both water and nitrogen uptake as well as increasing resistance to various pathogens. See more
