23.01.2022 Well, with the end of the financial year upon us, we’ve got lots of things to announce: Firstly our new mid-week special - a delicious Macleay Valley rabbit pie, served with an Endeavour Amber Ale beer, all for just $35, Tuesday Friday. Next week we’ll be doing a different dish each night to celebrate the Tour-de-France. Wherever the riders are on the day, we’ll be cooking a special regional dish to celebrate their hard work. Finally, we’ve had a lot of call for BYO. We’ve ...decided that with respect for all our wonderful customers with their amazing cellars, we will allow BYO Tuesday Thursday evenings, for the rest of winter BUT only one bottle per person, and not allowed for groups of 8 and above. 09.01.2022 Bring on winter at The Ortolan. With the focus on hearty French regional peasant food, each week, Sunday to Friday, well offer a main course winter warmer and a glass of wine for only $35. This week a delicious lamb navarin (French stewYUM!), matched with a glass of 2009 Sticks Cabernet Sauvignon from Yarra Valley.... Also everyone, stay tuned for ortolan@home. Many requests have been made to relaunch this popular takeaway option. Join our mailing list to be informed of this and upcoming events.
