20.01.2022 Andrew has been successfully working in Employment Services for over 20 years. Andrew spent 5 years as a senior policy advisor for the National Employment Services Association. Andrew has been consulting across Employment Services and assisting providers to successfully turn their performance around since 2010. In 2014 Andrew took on a role with A4e/Tracys (now known as PeoplePlus) to turn long term poor performance around. He Succeeded, won a jobactive contract (2015 2020) and left to return to The P-Formance Group in August 2017 after leading the organisation to be one of the top performing providers in Australia.

16.01.2022 I have been reading a recent paper titled "The Dimensions of Insecure work" published in May 2018. Most of us working in Employment Services would know about the challenges of insecure, part time, casual work and underemployment. So the following paragraph from the papers summary states the following.... "The traditional employment relationship, based on permanent, full-time work with normal entitlements (such as paid leave and superannuation), has been chipped away on many s...ides. Today, for the first time in recorded statistics, less than half of employed Australians work in a permanent full-time paid job with leave entitlements." This statement is alarming for all of us and amplifies the need to change employment services and the way providers are funded today. Australia has been a leader in Employment Services for many years but tweeking the existing system is no longer an option, we need to reinvent the system to address the current challenges faced by all of us.
