24.01.2022 CONSTRUCTION SITE. The slab is down for the new Lions changerooms so things are happening. Many thanks to all those who have been hard at it behind the scenes. Also, thanks to those who attended our working bee last weekend and helped clear the tree branches. 20.01.2022 We won 6-4 to 4-4 Terrific game & Alex Pitt won the player of the game award. A great team effort. Quarter time: Paddyroos 2-3 to Naracoorte 1-1... Half time: Paddyroos 3-3 to Naracoorte 2-2 Three quarter time: Paddyroos 4-3 to Naracoorte 3-4. Final score: Paddyroos 6-4 to Naracoorte 4-4. The tacklling intensity was amazing and they kept at it for the whole game. A great game to watch and thanks to all those who came out to show their support. 20.01.2022 Looking for a way to help the Club, Netball or Football? Becoming a Sports Trainer could be for you! We have some information regarding upcoming training opportunities. The training consists of online - pre-learning, a 3.5 hour Zoom session, and a 3 hour assessment. We really need to get some more people trained and interested in assisting, as many hands make light work.... Registration for the first session closes next week, with the first session on the 2nd of February. If you'd like more information, please email [email protected]

11.01.2022 Reminder of the Padthaway Football and Cricket Club Inc. AGM this Thursday, November 12 at 7.30pm. For those wanting to have a closer look over constitution amendments and formulate any questions, there will be a pre-AGM meeting and time allocated from 6.30pm, to save time within the AGM. Both versions will also be displayed and discussed in the AGM.

Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time. Lester is a past player and coach of the Padthaway Football Club, guiding us to a premiership in 1993.

06.01.2022 DETHATCH DAY. It was a big day at Padthaway today starting before 8 am and finishing after 6 tonight. Many thanks to Kieron and his team and to David from Glenelg Turf Ace with his pretty impressive machine. We had 7 tractors and trailers and three tippers working pretty much all day removing the thatch from the oval. A big thank you to all those who helped make it happen.... We had a great band of workers not only involved in the dethatching of the oval but tidying up the surrounds as well. Thanks also for those who carted material to their properties as in Adelaide, that would add another $40 000 + to the job in cartage and disposal. Now, there's a bit of fine tuning to be done with the sprinklers before the oval returns to peak condition. Well done . See more
