24.01.2022 simple refreshing dinner for a warm night. Vietnamese beef salad with crispy onion and lime chilli dressing

18.01.2022 From left to right: ginger and lime cheesecake; salted caramel tart; passionfruit cheesecake

18.01.2022 Chicken schnitzel and cabbage salad with herb, chilli dressing. This has all the lure of Friday night takeout, minus the queue and after junk guilt.

13.01.2022 Thought to combine 2 of my favourite things, cardamon and panna cotta. Cardamon panna cotta with toasted pistachio, raspberries and orange segments. Doesn’t need anything else. Perfect as it is.

10.01.2022 Mmm! Donuts!! Homemade! Glazed, cinnamon and custard.

10.01.2022 With my parents and brother’s birthday so close together, 3 birthday cakes within 2 weeks is too much. For my mum’s birthday I made this cookie tart.

09.01.2022 Grand finale dessert Ginger and Lime cheesecake Jaffa cheesecake (orange and chocolate)... I love making cheesecakes. My cheesecakes are never cheesy. It’s always smooth, creamy and delicious.

08.01.2022 Mini eclairs with cardamom custard. That custard...Words fail to describe how delicious that custard is. Every taste is a mouthful of wonder and dare I say... MAGIC! That custard...mmmm!

05.01.2022 When kids want coloured cupcakes, hubby wants cinnamon but you prefer chocolate cupcake with caramel centre.

02.01.2022 Caramel cheesecake.

01.01.2022 What better way to celebrate Friday than baking. Today it was cookie tart filled with cream cheese and lemon curd.

01.01.2022 I’m not a fan of pavlova. The few occasions that I have tried it, it tasted eggy. An eggy dessert I do not like. But when I had egg whites left after making ice cream, thought what can I do to use them. I didn’t have time to make macaroons, so I thought why not try pavlova. These were not eggy. They were crunchy on top marshmallowy in the middle and after today I love pavlova (if done right)
