25.01.2022 Great News ! Tasmania Police Pipe Band took out world online championship honours! We send our congratulations to the band on this wonderful attainment. We have been so fortunate to have them with us for their practice sessions in our loft and playing for the public on each occasion. Our courtyard was the venue for the video for the competition and we are thrilled they have been rewarded with a prize.Thank you Gaynor and the entire band for bringing us all such pleasure on your visits. Starting this Wednesday 9th September we will be open Wednesday- Sunday ,10.00am - 2.30pm. Our breakfast times will change as of next Sunday,being 9.00am-11.00am. 05.01.2022 We are delighted that the Tasmania Police Pipe Band will be with us this coming Sunday ( 19th July) for their first "practice session" since the beginning of Covid-19. Bagpipes and Drums will ring through the Oatlands morning. The band will then play for the public outside our wee shop. We will all be required to observe social distancing at all times outside when listening. This will be at approximately 12.15pm. Perhaps minus the kilts and in their " civvies" as tis a practi...ce session , however their casual attire will never detract from the wonderful music. Come along to tap your toes, give them a round of applause as they celebrate being able to share their music once again.
