When I make your cake I will tell you exactly what goes into it. real food: eggs, butter, flour, sugar... no surprises. no hydrogenated fats, no additives and no preservatives and many other chemicals that are in commercial cake mixes. I bake your cake from scratch, just as I would bake them for my family: home baked from scratch and with love every time.

I provided the cake with a gold drip icing and it was finished off beautifully with topper, flowers macarons and meringues by her mum. I was recently designing a cake for a dear friend. She is a one of a kind, a very classy, kind lady and I couldn’t get the idea of ‘gold’ out of my mind. No matter what the end result would be, I knew it would have to have a prominent golden component to it. I love that I can create a celebration cake is so personal and so unique to that individual

19.01.2022 It’s probably impossible to cater for and satisfy everyone but we gave it a red hot go. This cake was a gluten free, dairy free and soy free Black Forest style torte with a semi naked buttercream cover. I have become more accustomed to making these kinds of cakes as my own son is dairy and gluten intolerant. It’s not fun to not be able to eat everything on offer. I can cater for some intolerances but can not do dedicated catering for severe allergies. I sincerely hope this cake was enjoyed by a few people who usually have to pass on the cake due to their intolerances/ allergies (as well as those who can eat everything!)

16.01.2022 Buttercream summer colours just because the weather is so perfect right now where we live. This one is a gluten and dairy free banana and walnut cake. Although my kitchen is not a dedicated gluten or dairy free kitchen I often get asked to make cakes that cater to particular intolerances or allergies. My own son is dairy and gluten intolerant and often accepts that he just can’t eat what’s on offer. It’s such a relief when someone brings out a cake everyone can enjoy. Vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, banana, apple and cinnamon... there are many possibilities.
