22.01.2022 The Peter 'Wally' Bamford Memorial Concert 2020 is being run as a ticketed function this year due to restrictions being placed on large gatherings. As such, we'll be streaming the concert online and live this year. This allows anyone who isn't able to come along to the Bushranger Hotel to still be a part of the fun! We've created this link for anyone who would still like to support the concert, and in turn support the Centenary Institute of Australia and all of the amazing wo...rk they do. All funds raised using this link go directly to the Centenary Institute of Australia. For more information on the Centenary Institute of Australia, check out their website... www.centenary.org.au Once again, the Bamford family would like to say thanks to everyone involved in making the concerts over the last 15 years... The bands, the venues, the sponsors, the technicians, and most of all, the friends and family who come along every year! https://www.facebook.com/donate/1159621331138522/

13.01.2022 6pm tomorrow night (Wednesday 21st) we will be posting a link to secure FREE tickets to this year’s gig. Very limited numbers, so make sure you don’t miss out. Sure you can watch the live stream, but nothing compares to actually being there- plus you can catch some performances that won’t be on the stream
12.01.2022 We won't be holding onto any, so make sure you get out to the Bushranger Hotel nice and early so you don't miss out on the color/design you want. Note we've got more of the camo ones than last year.
11.01.2022 Artist spotlight: JAM Main-man Joey Bishop says: JAM has been playing together since the start of 2018, they've played at various venues and are always looking for new avenues to play. JAM loves playing pub rock, blues and aussie hits alongside iconic Beatles and rolling stones songs with their own personal twist. JAM also enjoys playing their own original pieces whenever they can. This band will be one to watch in 2020.... Many will recognise Joey as the son of long-time supporter/performer Dave Bishop. We’re really excited to see some of this next generation of insanely talented youngsters stepping up and taking the reigns!
09.01.2022 Artist spotlight. The Minglewood blues Band. These seasoned Bluesmen are well known in the Blues circles as a tight, high energy band that love performing.... This outfit plays the blues but in a way that doesn't give you the blues. Their original and cover tunes will draw you to the dance floor. This performance has the legend himself, Gavin Kelly on pots n pans as Berno is OS. See more
09.01.2022 Artist spotlight: Night Train You all know and love these cuties- they’ve been supporting this event since the very beginning and have provided some incendiary performances over the years. This year they will be doing things a little differently....... Firstly, NT are welcoming two good mates onto the stage to help bring the rock- Brett Bamford & Robbie Gregory.... a couple of rhythm superheroes! Secondly, the band have decided to pay tribute to one of their favourite bands (& one of the biggest influences in all of Oz-Rock) with a full set of The Angels classics! This is going to get loud https://www.facebook.com/NightTrainAus/
09.01.2022 Artist Spotlight The Chesterfield Band. The Chesterfield Band started in the kitchen with a daughter and her Dad, Tess and Cam writing and singing together. The pair won a local original music contest and released their first single under the band name My Dad & I. This single had some success both locally and abroad being picked up by some USA college radio stations. 6 months and a whole heap of shows later the duo formed into a 4 piece Indie Pop group, ‘The Chesterfield B...and with Dylan Harding on drums and Craig Marshalsey on bass. The band hit the road again in 2018 in a big way. Travelling over 15,000km, playing over 100 shows, eating an absolutely ridiculous amount of bacon and egg rolls while meeting a whole heap of amazing people. They released their debut single Imagining Nothing At All in the same year and won the opportunity for the single to be featured on Tiger Airway flights around Australia for 6 months. In 2019 the band again toured the East coast of the country and also released their EP ‘Early Days’. The EP received some incredible views and features on Australia and international radio stations. On the back of this success a European tour was booked and the band set off on a jet plane! The tour was called Next Steps signifying the group’s forward moving intentions. After 14 dates in cities all over Europe to capacity crowds the band returned home for a month off and are set to begin recording their next single and planning another tour before the end of the year.
