05.01.2022 Big day on the road today, Phantom Express climbed mountains, took the scenic route and generally had a great day, we did have a small fuel pressure issue, but fortunately we managed a little bit of a tow from OV1 [big ass recovery vehicle on the bash]

02.01.2022 Day 5 !!! Phantom Express decided last night that one of its batteries wasnt coping anymore and the all important beers fridges started to suffer. Obviously this isnt the standard we have come to accept and a fix was in order! After the morning run Phantom Express and crew high tailed it to the lovely Tiaro and sourced 2x new AGM batterys! Good news!! fridges and contents are now happy!... Car and crew now settled into a penthouse in Rainbow Beach for the next 2 nights as we have a much deserved lay day tomorrow! 1 crew member was even lucky enough to have his amazing family come up from Brisbane and see him for Fathers Day, a small tear may have been shed this arvo over that one, a truly special moment! ! HAPPY FATHERS DAY! To all the Dads out there! Being away from family on this day is hard, but seeing the good this charity does makes it worth while! #varietybash #yagottadoit See more
