25.01.2022 This beautiful home is now on the market - the owner has worked tirelessly getting her home ready. Ive done a bit of painting, wall patch ups, repairs, etc to help present this lovely home. Please check it out :) http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-qld-gordon+park I think I have found my passion in my business - its so exciting to finally see a house at its very best and on the market! If you know anyone wanting to sell their house but it just needs a few repairs,... paint refresh, deck repairs, gardening and even cleaning, please send them my way. Thanks! Good luck Sam!

25.01.2022 Child free weekend but been busy working brisbane northside for some lovely supportive customers and meeting nice people on the way :)

23.01.2022 Thank you to my beautiful friend Kylie Higgins and her lovely husband for their business this week and huge confidence in The Pink Screwdriver :)

23.01.2022 This week have done some work on an office building - painting, wall repairs, light globes, hang pictures. There arent many tradespeople around that would do these small jobs and if they do, would charge a fortune. Im very happy to help at very reasonable rates :)

21.01.2022 I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a lovely New Year. The Pink Screwdriver is back into the swing of things after a break with my beautiful girls so please message or call me with anything you need done around the home. Its going to be a busy and successful year and I look forward to sharing it with you. Happy New Year to you all and I hope your year will be an exciting one too x

21.01.2022 Merry Christmas to everyone and your families. Thank you for supporting me and The Pink Screwdriver this year - I am so lucky to have wonderful customers x

21.01.2022 Ive been helping a lovely family in Strathpine as they plan to put their house on the market. Lots of painting, wall and door repairs, repair decking and much more. And assisting in de-cluttering to prepare for open house. Anything you need I can help, just ask me :)

20.01.2022 Im hearing frequently that numerous tradespeople do not turn up, return calls, are sometimes rude or dont want to quote for jobs that seem too small to them. No job too small for me and common courtesy is always a priority :)

20.01.2022 Two lovely ladies, two beautiful homes Im helping to get ready for sale with some repairs and maintenance - lets hope they both sell quickly and their next exciting chapters can begin!!

20.01.2022 Thanks to the lovely Ellen Fogarty for the gardening work this week and for your help. Anyone else needing garden clean ups or any home maintenance needs, please give me call!! No obligation quotes, no job too small, no question too silly :)

19.01.2022 Website coming soon!!

19.01.2022 I am now using my reverse cycle air conditioner during these cooler nights. Its reminded to ensure the filter is cleaned regularly as it can reduce airflow and efficiency with the dust build up. My filter is reusable so it can be cleaned with a brush or hosed off. You can do this yourself, saving money on getting someone else to do it and reducing your electricity bill. Some air conditioners need the filter replaced. When in doubt, please check with a licensed air conditioning.

18.01.2022 The house I have been helping to get ready for sale is finally on the market!! The little touches make all the difference like refreshing with paint, repairing dents and holes in walls, securing loose decking boards, etc - things that a potential buyer may see. Theres only one chance to make that first impression to a potential buyer. PS. Lots of credit goes to Sharon who has worked so hard in making her home look beautiful. Check out this lovely home at -> http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-qld-eatons+hill

18.01.2022 I want a pair of these!!!

18.01.2022 Thank you to my awesome brother Joseph Brown for your help and ongoing support xx

15.01.2022 In light of a recent article, I want to highlight that renovating, building and home maintenance that appear on DIY shows seem to be really easy. Accidents can happen and do mainly with using power tools, ladders and around electricity. Do not be disheartened to attempt your own DIY work as long as it is not plumbing or electrical work. Always keep safe and use the right safety gear - be aware of where electrical cables are in your house (power point and light switch locatio...ns are good indicators), aware of powerlines when using ladders and always having another person to assist, using safety gear when using power tools and again be aware of electrical cords (dont want to cut these). I even use ear muffs when mowing as hearing loss can happen over time without it. Injuries can also happen with hand tools and not using them correctly or what they were intended for. Usually as people get more confident in their abilities, they end up getting careless. Give things a go and dont be afraid as long as youre safe and sensible in the situation. Theres heaps of DIY info on the internet on how to do anything and everything, even how-to YouTube videos. http://www.couriermail.com.au//story-fnihsrf2-122703358298

11.01.2022 Had a wonderful time at home show - found some great improvement ideas for your homes, and some really quality Australian made and owned companies. I was also able to network and get my name out to some companies who are often asked by customers to help with some home maintenance and minor renovations. Will post more soon.

11.01.2022 My lovely helper for the weekend - Little Miss Pink Screwdriver - who tried to get me with paint but came out second best :)

10.01.2022 Thanks Jodie Guerrero for the wonderful referral!

10.01.2022 Want to update your kitchen or maybe laundry? These flatpack options are Australian made and custom made to your measurements which can be easily done online. Met the owner and staff from North Qld at the home show and was so impressed that I am going to use these products for my own kitchen. My customers can purchase their kitchen online and I am happy to provide assistance or install for you. You can buy as much or as little as you need - its easy and wonderful to support a great Australian business! http://semble.com.au/

10.01.2022 Replaced my elderly neighbours door lock as it was no longer working - she was over the moon! And of course I had to stay for a lovely cup of tea :)

08.01.2022 Wet weather project on the weekend - creating shelving in one of the wardrobes. Still roughly the same amount of hanging space but hanging now used for shirts and skirts. See before and after photos :)

07.01.2022 My website is finally live!! Please check it out and/or share with your friends. All feedback is welcome - thanks again for your wonderful support :) www.thepinkscrewdriver.com.au

05.01.2022 Fixed my lovely elderly neighbours gate which was a small job for me but really made her day and helped her feel secure in her home again. A lot of tradespeople dont want these jobs because it doesnt bring in the big bucks but they dont realise how much it can mean to the owners. Luckily I care :)

05.01.2022 I fell in love with these recycled timber wall panels - the timber is used from decommissioned boats so each one has unique characteristics. It is very easy to install and can transform a room into something special. http://www.bellalujo.com.au/

03.01.2022 Thank you to Andrew McMicking for the work on the weekend. I created some privacy for him in his carport, fixed a fence and started working on the gardens. If anyone else wants work done like this and so much more please contact me. Website coming soon - stay tuned...

02.01.2022 I have been working with the very charming Graeme and his lovely family to get his house ready for sale. I may put him on as my marketing manager as he has been promoting me and my business - thanks so much! Good luck with the sale. If you or anyone you know wants to put their house on market and needs some help to present the property, please message me. The end result is very rewarding :)

01.01.2022 A little note from my beautiful supportive daughter who believes in me and what I am doing for our future :)

01.01.2022 Thanks to Felicia & Geoff for the work on repairing their retaining wall - it was a big job but made it in the end :)

01.01.2022 Thank you to my awesome brother for his help on this project for a lovely customer.
