25.01.2022 Its a beautiful day here in Melbourne and I am wearing Imperial Tea @by_killian pretending I am out for lunch, drinking wine in the sun. Only I forgot I was really sick from an Osmanthus tea cocktail a few years ago, and the strong Osmanthus note gives me occasional waves of nausea. I love the fragrance so I push through it What fragrance are you wearing today?

22.01.2022 The Scent Society is written by a good friend of mine Paolo and his brother Alessio. I met Paolo about 14 years ago when we both worked at Liberty in London, me for Floris and him for Diptyque. Whenever we see each other, we kiss hello and then sniff each others fragrance. I like The Scent Society as it is written by industry professionals with years of experience and also because I can hear Paolos delicious accent in my head as I read it.

22.01.2022 Do you watch Masterchef? Tonight you should just to see this man in action. Lume is one of my favourite restaurants and I have had the pleasure of working with Shaun and the team in the past. It is so damn good I even took my Dad, known as Big W and the fussiest diner you ever met there, and he raved about it. Raved. The dish tonight is one of their signature dishes and so pretty, it is almost a shame to eat it. #bigwthumbsup

21.01.2022 Observations from Saudi Arabia 1. Perfume is so deeply ingrained in the culture here. Oud and bakhoor are scents from childhood, and comes from Saudi Arabias Bedouin roots. It is such a pleasure to hear their stories. 2. Saudi Arabia is not as it is portrayed in the media. It is a cosmopolitan, progressive society where 75% of the population is under 30. Some big changes have happened over the past 5 years with many more coming. 3. Saudis are incredibly friendly and genero...us. I have been taken out for amazing meals and given beautiful gifts of bukhoor, traditional foods and perfume. 4. Young Saudi women are ambitious and brave. They are smart, well educated and hard working. I have met many young ladies who have opened successful businesses and challenged the traditional way of doing things. I am excited to see the changes for women this new generation will bring. 5. The food is amazing. Am somewhat grateful for my abaya. It almost covers the fact that I have eaten every traditional dish possible. 6. I really like rocking a turban. See more

20.01.2022 Introducing Have a Nice Day Scented Sanitiser When all this craziness started, I made a hand sanitiser for myself because I am not a fan of hand sanitisers. They dry the skin out, are packaged in plastic, and smell awful. My friend Scott has terrible dermatitis so I made one for him and other friends. When everybody who used it said it left their hands smelling great and feeling soft, I worked with my Cosmetics Chemist to ensure the formula was effective, compliant and gentl...e on the hands. One that would give a little sensory experience to lift the spirits in these uncertain times. Have A Nice Day (H.A.N.D) was born, a new kind of luxury hand sanitiser. The formula has 70% Perfume Grade ethanol, with Aloe Vera, vegetable Glycerine and Panthenol to hydrate and soothe the skin and of course, the most beautiful essential oils selected for their antibacterial and emotional benefits. Rose (obvi) and Kunzia, Lemon Myrtle, and West Australian Sandalwood and Cedarwood are the three scents available. Packaged in glass, and a travel size is launching in 2 weeks. I have been invited by Know.sa, I never thought I would have an opportunity to visit the land of the Incense Route so of course I said yes! I leave in 2.5 weeks, so lots of things to do before I go!

13.01.2022 I am so excited to finally be able to share my latest project, Parfums de Voyage. I have been working with Cathy Pacific to create a fragrance based on my trip to Hong Kong last month. I love this city, it is one of the most vibrant cities in the world, so to embark on a smell adventure there was a dream come true. What does Hong Kong smell like to you?

It runs for an hour and you will learn the French history of perfume and have an opportunity to create your own fragrance using the Olfactorium, a mini Perfumers organ with raw materials from Europes leading perfume houses. 11.01.2022 A great article about my client Heartwood Natural Harmony I was tasked by owner Alex to create a Make Your Own Perfume Experience for her beautiful store in Perth using only natural perfume raw materials. I created the accords for customers to blend their own perfume and sourced the materials used. I also created 9 blends of the accords for customers to mix in store. 08.01.2022 Did you know you can use my sanitising scents to make wearing a bit more pleasant? Just give your mask a spray with your favourite H.A.N.D scent and let it dry for a minute before putting it on. The fragrances are all natural so its a bit like using aromatherapy for emotional support while you cope with the Zombie Apocalypse, I mean Pandemic. If you have any fragrances sensitivity or respiratory issues, do not do this. Spraying with sanitiser does not clean your mask, you should still wash it after each use. Please use common sense. @handsanitisingscent
