25.01.2022 Penrite oil and CanAm VRL are proud to be supporting partners of the "Race For Relief" Bushfire charity Esport Sim race. This is a fundraiser event hosted within iRacing.com racing simulation and is the brainchild of RFS member Henry Greenham. The Race For Relief is a 4 hour multiclass endurance race being held at Phillip Island, using the Holden Commodore and Ford Mustang V8 Supercars, as well as the Audi RS3 TCR. The event will be held on April 11th, 2020 at 10.00 AEDT / 00...:00 GMT. The event will be broadcast LIVE on the SimSpeedTV network. We have been able to attract V8Sc drivers Thomas Randle and Cam Waters who will share a car, while Liam McAdam will line up in a TCR car. Hopefully more to be announced. We have managed to gain the support of several well known streamers and Esport teams including Jimmy Broadbent, Big Esports, Stealth Sim Force and of course SouthPaw Racer. 100% of all driver registration fees ($15 AUD), and all funds raised from the broadcasts will go to charity. 08.01.2022 A good write up by our ABC. In these strange times it's good to see the general population getting on board with esports! Not only that but there have been a many charity events recently that have brought in big dollar, such as Jimmy Broadbent's race for bread and Lando Norris losing his hair after a charity event for the British health services. We hope to follow this trend and raise some good money for our bushfire recovery charities!
