13.01.2022 Hi all. We now have loaded all the Tree Children yarns onto the website in 8 ply and most of the 4 ply. Only Spring range left to go. I hope you are all knitting up a storm this winter. It's certainly cold enough to get those needles clicking.

13.01.2022 Hey there fibre lovers We have had an interesting year full of challenges. The New Zealand Mill we use to make our yarns has had much inner turmoil. We are still not sure of its future. It will be sad to lose this historical Woollen Mill with it’s amazing old but timeless machinery. We are crossing our fingers that we will be able to get yarn made there in 2017. As a result, some of our yarns are running low so if you snooze, you lose. The Tree Children Yarns rocked out th...e door. We hope to stock them again in the new year. We will keep you posted here. Inspired by the gift of Eve’s looms, we, Ruth & Vicki, have been learning and falling in love with the age old craft of weaving. We are weaving a range of Men’s Scarves in our natural range of alpaca merino yarns as we see a niche in the market for stylish Men’s accessories. Over summer we’ll put up a photo of the floor loom by Ruth’s beautiful pool. The saying will be, Weave a scarf, Have a swim, drink a .cup of tea of course. Regards Vicki & Ruth

After a lot of behind the scenes issues, the Tree Children Range is once again for sale on our website. This is a fabulous vintage palette with ten wonderful shades for each season. This is a Limited Edition range and will not be made again. There are some colours that have been so popular they are no longer available in 4 ply, but all colours are available in 8 ply. These beautiful yarns are made to Rare Yarns specifications being 80% alpaca and 20% merino and they mix and stripe wonderfully. Try Melon Heaven with our Rare Yarns Indigo 8 ply.
