20.01.2022 A good farewell to Dick Payten today. A resilient and caring man, well loved by family and friends. Saw the best in everyone and worked tirelessly for the memory of his mates. Made a farewell video where he read the poem "Mates" that he used to read at other funerals.

19.01.2022 It is lovely that people stood in their driveways to remember on Anzac Day. You created the biggest Remembrance Driveway in the world - thank you. Lest we forget.

17.01.2022 A lot of our Facebook friends would be connected with serving and ex-serving members and their families; so we would like to let you know in this stressful time that Open Arms Veterans and Families Counselling is still on the job. As they say "Open Arms is open 24/7 if you need someone to talk to. Or, if you’re simply after some helpful hints for staying calm and coping with the pandemic check out our COVID-19 page." It is a free service and they are happy to help. https://www.openarms.gov.au/

15.01.2022 Sorry to have to report that the Plane tree planted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Second in Macquarie Place Sydney to mark the start of our beloved Driveway in 1954 has fallen to the weather. We are not sure about the details yet, but it is gone. A real shame. We will look to a replacement in due course.

14.01.2022 I trust all our friends and supporters are well; the coronavirus has certainly changed the way we interact and perhaps even the way we think about life. When we get back to our "new normal" there will still be a place for remembrance, and we are continuing to work on our VC Memorial development. We need your support so please make a donation; only a handful have done so far. This is the proposed area in Valour Park for the memorial. Donate at https://www.remembrancedriveway.org.au/ then share the post. Take care.
