24.01.2022 For those who were thinking of attending.

22.01.2022 Even though our 2020 event couldn't go ahead we still raised a little over $5,500 from sponsorships and ticket sales. Thank you for all those who supported this year's event. We are very happy to be able to still support our selected charities and all monies raised will be distributed among the selected charities. The charities are: Maroondah Rotary, Foothills Foundation, Jazzy's Gift, Rafiki Mwema and Oaktree. We would like to thank our sponsors for their support. 02.01.2022 As you may be aware, the World Health Organisation has declared a pandemic of the coronavirus. This has lead to organisations having to reconsider the use of facilities for public events. With this in mind we have made the decision to cancel The Rice Meal event for this year. All monies collected to date for ticket sales will be distributed among the selected charities. The charities are: Maroondah Rotary, Foothills Foundation, Jazzy's Gift, Rafiki Mwema and Oaktree. However, if you would like a refund for your ticket cost please let us know via email. Thank you for your support of The Rice Meal.

Greg, through the Homeless, Not Helpless offers support and encouragement to those less fortunate in our community. SHANI CAIN - Oaktree Org Learn about the Oaktree organisation - an organisation of young people leading, creating, demanding a more just world Rafiki Mwema (Loyal Friend) Hear (via video) from children whose lives have been impacted by abuse and neglect, whose lives are now being transformed by the work of Rafiki Mwema.
