20.01.2022 When I set up the studio I decided not to put in place any price structure, trusting that I would be looked after. I have also always loved the idea of exchanges, rather than trade being based purely on money, so wanted to have space for that too. I have been so moved by what has unfolded and wanted to take a moment just to say thank-you and let you know how grateful I feel. The exchanges have been many and vaired from home made wine, to having my business logo done for me. ...One of my favourites is those that have done my husbands ironing. They have ironed his 5 shirts (pictured below), in exchange for a class and I get 5 minutes extra cuddles from my husband each morning, a win:win:win. And just yesterday I was feeling under the weather so called in one of my babysitting vouchures, so I could sleep. It was a god sent. I also appreciate those that pay and in some instances have recieved more than I would have ever thought to ask for. Letting go of structure and expectation and opening to allowing and trusting, creates space for magic!
