25.01.2022 Most anticipated kite-race in the world this weekend....... The Red Bull Lighthouse to Leighton event will take place on either Saturday or Sunday. I am competing for the 3rd time in the 19km open sea drag race. Been a busy week getting gear turned around for some of the 160 competitors but I've just about managed - albeit my own kote needing a small leak fixing at the last minute...... nothing like leaving it late with a 2pm kit dropoff deadline

25.01.2022 Solid advice crew!!!!

24.01.2022 What a great start to the weekend. Not only did I score a great session last night at the local with next to no crowds but then my first customer rocks up with a doughnut - needless to say Vish's kite is now classified as a priority job Great forecast for the next few days so catchya out there

24.01.2022 How's everyone's weekend been??? This wind hasn't been great as of late but I've still been flat out in the workshop........ Loads of repairs in and a big drop of bladders will keep me in the workshop this week too. Later this week looks good for some breeze - bring it on crew

23.01.2022 Shut till late on the 1st - finally made the call that a man needs a break. Time to hit the water - back for unltra quick turnarounds next year

22.01.2022 Well that's it guys - first storm of winter done and another week of light breeze ahead....... A few repairs in already and I'm feeling very sore after taking some hard hits. How did everyone fair? Let's hear your storm stories. Ry

22.01.2022 Finally - duotone and 'old north' pump adaptors are back in stock. I know these have been difficult to get hold of lately so hit me up if you're in need. Ry Edit - Thanks to Brad for reminding me that these are also suitable for core kites

22.01.2022 Headed to The Pond today - eta 4pm. Dropoffs and pickups available either direct or via WA SURF/West Oz Kiteboarding......... Finally some decent wind

22.01.2022 Workshop shut for the rest of the arvo cos a man needs a break after all. You will find me airborne and more than likely at The Pond so hit me up for pickups

22.01.2022 Almost at the end of another manic week in the workshop........ heaps happening as per usual and the pile doesn't seem to get any smaller. Cheers to the two chargers Sammy the sender and the one and only Willdozer for jumping n on the tools too. Great effort lads

21.01.2022 Sunday is certainly no rest day!!!! With wind on the forecast and an overload of jobs already in I'll be here today so hit me up for dropoffs and pickups. Ry

21.01.2022 Have been meaning to do a 'how to' for a while so here is a little one for a sail panel replacement for our friends at Kiteaddiction / Windsurfing Perth. Quite enjoyed going back to my sail-repair roots having been trained over 10 years ago by Cornish legend Jozzie of the renowned Lodey Sails. Btw - I missed the full 'before' photo but sure you get the idea

21.01.2022 Welcome to 2020 guys - lack of recent social media due to ridiculous amount of work but still snook out for the twin tip racing yesterday at Safety Bay Yacht Club. 22 this time for crash and burn racing. Such a buzz and I finally got one up on the old boy to take the win #keeptherepairscoming #edgev10 #safetybayyachtclub #wasurf... #ozonekitesaustralia See more

19.01.2022 Bit of fun this arvo guys

17.01.2022 Classic from the one and one Cauncy....... a great bit of banter on the local Perth Kitesurfing Gang Facebook page.

17.01.2022 I am only able to continue to carry out work to the highest standard due to using the best materials and machines possible - as with everything regular maintenance is key to success. This applies to kites and bars also - regular checks will prevent damage such as some.of the recent repairs below........ Ry

15.01.2022 Great way to end the day....... two photos taken at 30 seconds apart after a fun and unexpected session at the local

14.01.2022 Wow just wow!!! How nuts is this forecast - no wind and scorching hot. Remember crew - kites don't like it in 40 degrees either. Keep them out of your cars and other hot areas and avoid valve issues. Of course if they do go wrong you know who to come to.

13.01.2022 After another decent week I'm taking full advantage of Poets Day today and am off to score some waves. If you need anything then dropoffs can be arranged and pickups late arvo or over the weekend. Have fun at work everyone :-)

12.01.2022 Send mode at woodies whilst attempting to avoid the usual carnage - decent width at this point on the bar....... I make the most of the sessions when I actually get out of the workshop

12.01.2022 Come say hi and have a coldie if your at Coros - As per usual pickups available between Gero and Perth

10.01.2022 Don't suppose I can complain really 1.45 on a Sunday and this is the 3rd repair of the day to come in. Gotta love a cold front

10.01.2022 Last minute trip chasing wind and waves with some legends before the first proper week of seabreeze hits perth. Let's hope next week lives up to the forecast hey crew. In the workshop again early tomorrow for all your repair needs

09.01.2022 Down in Augusta for the weekend...... if anyone needs pickups between here and Perth hit me up - I'll be travelling back tomorrow late morning. Ry

09.01.2022 Wow - so what an off-season we've had. Wind and waves have been good and you guys have kept me extremely busy - thanks As you may have noticed I have been on a bit of a Sail Doctor social media blackout during this supposedly quieter period but I guess it's time to ramp it all up again so apologies in advance for the regular updates from now on. It's going to be a mad season over here in WA despite the lack of tourists I've noticed a massive upsurge in off-season kiters an...d the immergence of Wind Wings has also added to my workload and the numbers on the water. Seabreezes are starting to creap in so it's time to dust off your kite and give it a check over before the seasons properly kicks off. Hit me up for any advice and queries and see you either in the workshop or on the water Ry

08.01.2022 Whilst I may not be considered an 'essential service' I am in a lucky position to be able to remain open throughout the current crisis...... A number of crew are still managing to get sessions and I'm amazed to still be as busy as I am. Meanwhile if your not kiting and have been sat on those jobs you were 'waiting until the end of the season' for then now is the time to get them dropped off - my usual winter trips are all on hold so i will be at the workshop or practising so...cial distancing on the water nearby. Stay safe Ry

07.01.2022 Headed to the pond - hit me up for pickups

07.01.2022 Dropoffs and pickups tomorrow from Kiteaddiction / Windsurfing Perth, Action Sports W.A. and Surf Sail Australia - get your repairs in quick if you want them back before Xmas Cheers Ry

07.01.2022 Great week on the water and in the workshop. 2 unexpected sessions on Monday and Tuesday then last night going off........ Thanks to Bob for taking time out of his day to shoot.

07.01.2022 Quick heads up crew - I will be shut tomorrow and Saturday as I'm off to the wedding of the legend Will Crawf and beautiful Gen Brown. Dropoffs will still be possible as Dr Sammy will be holding fort for me and I will be working Sunday to make up for the time away. Cheers shredders Ry

04.01.2022 Priority job of the day complete. 'Sucky dog' has had his arms sewn back on and is now reunited with Jesse
