25.01.2022 Week 3 sorry for the delay

24.01.2022 We were blessed with a lovely reminder of the goodness of people last Friday when an 8yo boy came with his parents to gift us his GIVE jar. He has been saving some of his regular pocket money in the jar to help others. There was just over $49 in the jar. What an inspiration. Thanks so much to Harry

19.01.2022 Aussie celebrities celebrate Christmas with The Salvos and bushfire families on Channel 7. Tune in to Channel 7 this Saturday afternoon (1pm AEDT) to watch ‘Christmas with The Salvos’, a 30-minute television special featuring three NSW South Coast families devastated by the Black Summer fires, floods and the COVID-19 pandemic. The families share their unique experiences of recovery and rebuilding and how The Salvation Army met them at their point of need at every turn.

18.01.2022 Please give some thought to participating in this generous initiative, the Salvos Doorways Services will be blessed to receive some of the hampers to give to those in need this Christmas season.

16.01.2022 National Homelessness Week: Everybody Needs A Home Over 116,000 Australians are homeless. Together, with your support, we can reduce this figure. Weve launc...hed a webpage that includes five ways everyone can help during National Homelessness Week. Feel free to share this graphic and webpage with your community TSA Homelessness Week webpage: https://www.salvationarmy.org.au///homelessness-week-2020/ Please comment below if you have any queries. 15.01.2022 Lifting the lid on homelessness As Homelessness Week for 2020 comes to an end, our fight to eradicate street and rough sleeping continues. Through connection,... linkages, referrals, assertive outreach support, case management, and specialised programs, The Salvation Army is the largest provider of homelessness services in Australia. Our National Homelessness Research Project found: 2 in 5 respondents with kids became homeless because of family violence. One in six of all respondents became homeless because they couldnt afford to pay rent. More than one-quarter of all respondents were deprived of basic living items (food, water & healthcare). 2 in 5 respondents with kids had nowhere stable to live & were forced to move from place to place. Nobody should be without a safe, affordable and secure home. To learn more and help us end homelessness, go to: http://ow.ly/T8fj50ASYFv
