23.01.2022 Feathertail Gliders are a species that do not come into care very often but surprisingly we now have another little orphan to add to the group of 3 joeys which ...we posted about last week. This little one was found by hikers this week on a walking track at Springbrook. Thankfully, the hikers realised that he was very vulnerable all alone on the ground and sort help for him. He is now in care with our experienced glider carer Alice and has been buddied up with the 3 other little glider orphans for company. He was very dehydrated when he arrived but is now feeding well and weighs just 4.3 grams. Well keep our fingers crossed that he continues to do well with his new little family.
