25.01.2022 This Azalea is at least 90 years old, and could be much older. One of our Teachers, Ray Mackaway dug it from a friends garden around 20 years ago. Ray has been working on the tree for that period of time to develop it into a bonsai. This year its the best it has ever flowered. It is 104cm from the ground to the top of the tree and 104cm wide.

20.01.2022 Temporary closure of the School of Bonsai due to COVID-19 Due to the escalating concern regarding COVID-19 and the potential risk to students and teachers, the Committee have decided to suspend all classes effective immediately. We will closely monitor developments and recommendations by the Department of Health before making a decision on when to resume classes.... 09.01.2022 Heres George with his first ever bonsai. A Port Jackson fig that he purchased 29 years ago from Flower Power. The tree was supplied to the nursery by Ray Nesci and Ray still supplies Flower Power with all their bonsai to date. This may not be Georges best tree but its pretty special being the one that started his life long passion.
