07.01.2022 The children have really been enjoying working on their fine motor skills this morning at our threading table.

04.01.2022 Today at The Secret Garden Preschool we visited the Netherlands. We went for a bicycle along the canals of Amsterdam, enjoyed some sausages and mash for lunch and then finished off our afternoon looking at windmills and learning how to make clogs at Zaanse Schans. We then got to make our very own clogs to take home.

02.01.2022 Today we visited Tanzania on The Secret Garden Preschool Airbus. We went on a wildlife safari in the north of Tanzania called the Serengeti, we saw elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, hippopotamus, crocodoles and so many other animals. We used our binoculars to look at all the animals because we didn't want to get too close! After our safari we had yummy pilaf for lunch and we learnt the Tanzanian word for hello is Jumbo! To extend upon our learning we discussed the different colours we saw in the Serengeti environment and used those colours to inspire 9ur African dropper artworks.

01.01.2022 Over the past few weeks the children of The Secret Garden Preschool have been working very hard on painting their hands for our Acknowledgement of Country display. This morning we finally got it up on the wall!

01.01.2022 Today we took The Secret Garden Preschool Airbus to Pakistan! We rode camels through the mountains and saw a flower festival with Jasmine and Dandelions. For lunch we had nan bread and mango for dessert yuuummmoo! After lunch we all played a game of cricket and hockey, it was so much fun! I learnt to say hello in Pakistan, Assalam Alaykum!
