22.01.2022 The June Women's Shed morning tea gathering and project was inspiring. A few of the ladies had not played with clay for a long time or not at all. The focus was an animal shape made of two pinch pots they were then joined together to make a sphere. Other detail was then added to finish the project. Well done everybody! The next women's shed is on the 15th of July. A weeks notice of attending is appreciated so as to organize materials for the next project.

16.01.2022 The next horse agility in Arcadia is on Saturday the 5th of June. Please message to notify of your participation and find out further details. To secure your place a $25 deposit is required as numbers are limited!

11.01.2022 The hoof structure and function workshop with Dave Leigh hosted by the Shed Studio was informative, and well presented. What was most apparent was the importance of not allowing the toe of the hoof to become to long, the heels too high and only allow a little peripheral loading on the wall of the hoof at the pillars. This loading peripherally was also determined by the environmental conditions at the time of the trim. There will be a one day trimming workshop offered in Autumn in 2021. Register your interest as numbers are limited.

11.01.2022 The May Women's Shed gathering for morning tea and a project was well attended.The theme was a simple landscape using acrylic paint with the use of tone, texture and a focal point. Well done ladies! The next women's shed gathering is on Thursday the 17th of June from 10am to 12pm. Please message Suzanne if wanting to attend. A week's notice is appreciated so as to purchase and organize materials!

10.01.2022 The Shed Studio is a venue for the women’s shed. Located in the leafy, rural suburb of Arcadia in Sydney it brings women together for morning tea and an easy art project or presentation on a topic of interest by a guest speaker. It is an opportunity to connect with others, share ideas and learn something new in a friendly and supportive environment. This gathering is held the third Thursday of the month. Cost of $20 includes: Tea / coffee, cake, and project.

06.01.2022 The May Women's Shed will be held on Thursday 20th from 10am to 12pm. Come along and enjoy a social, relaxing outing with morning tea and project. Please register if you are attending.
