19.01.2022 With so many scamers and backyard breeders out there. And the demand for puppies overwhelming for a lot of responsible/ registered ANKC breeders at the moment. I thought I would share this. A good reputable breeder will ask very similar questions as listed below. And in return we will want to know and understand information about YOU. We as breeders, know our breed best, and sometimes a Siberian isnt the breed for you. Good reputable breeders ALWAYS have our dogs / puppies b...est interest at heart. If you genuinely would like to enquire about a puppy. Please do not send texts or emails with 1 liner questions - eg, do you have puppies, how much are they. For breeders who put their heart and sole and absolute everything into our breeding programs and raising healthy, well bred puppies, this can be quite disheartening, and we are often offended by receiving such little or poor communication. We recommend you avoid looking for a puppy on gumtree or trading post. The ANKC (Australian National Kennel Council) The SHCNSW ( The Siberian Husky Club of NSW) or the Victorian Siberian Husky Club, is the perfect place and the only recommended place to start looking for a purebred well bred Siberian Husky. If you would like additional information about a reputable breeder. Please send us a PM Lastly, the best advice I can offer for anyone wanting to add a new puppy into their home, is to be patient. A puppy should be welcomed into your home and live a beautiful life for the next 12 - 16 years. You certainly dont want to worry about the puppy / dog having a serious heridetiary health issue. 06.01.2022 The Sledding Committee unfortunately wishes to advise that our scheduled ASSA / ANKC race for 13th and 14th of June, has now been cancelled due to the Covid -19 restrictions, and our clubs Governing Body / Dogs NSW policy of all events being cancelled until end of June. We do hope we can reschedule this event for 2021. We do hope our backpacking event scheduled for July 25th and 26th will still be able to proceed. Kind Regards Sledding Committee

06.01.2022 On behalf of the Siberian Husky Club of NSW, we wish to advise that both our Sydney Royal fundraiser show and Easter Saturday Specialty Show will no longer proceed due to cancellations of the Royal and Dogs NSW events. We will be in talks with Dogs NSW as to the possibility of securing an alternative date, later in the year for our Easter Saturday Show. News will be announced as it comes to hand.
