23.01.2022 BLAIR FIELDS | BENTLEIGH Our recently completed project. A new addition to the Bentleigh community consisting of 22 boutique apartments. The design responds to the sensitive interfaces to the side and rear, where we face low grain houses and domestic courtyards. The materiality of the project represents a departure from the more contemporary apartment buildings in the suburb and helps with a better transition to the smaller scale of the adjoining properties. ... 07.01.2022 Since the COVID-19 outbreak in December 2019, many countries have been shutting down their borders, implementing lockdowns that continue to stretch for months, and limiting the movement of citizens to minimise the spread of the coronavirus. There may be an increase in anxiety as a result of constant exposure to the news about the rising number of infections and deaths from Covid-19. Many also worry about the health of their loved ones, especially if they are far away.... It is important for the individual to know that it is okay to feel vulnerable as we go through this period of uncertainty, particularly so if he/she had experienced mental health issues in the past. We need to remain vigilant and look after the mental well-being of ourselves and one another. An occasional phone call, a thoughtful text message, or even a cheery email might go a long way to brighten a persons day, and to let people know that they are not alone in this pandemic. We believe that as a company, The Silver Arc will get through this pandemic together, and emerge stronger.
