21.01.2022 Ok guys. As most of you know Simon 'Simo' Cook and I worked on the Nullarbor Traveller (http://www.thetraveller.net.au) tours together many years ago. In honour of that time I have contacted Hassie from Nullarbor Traveller and he has accepted my request to guide a Simo Memorial tour across the Nullarbor. The Dates are Wednesday 21st of September departing Adelaide. And Sunday the 2nd from Perth to Adelaide. Special prices to friends and family can be organised with appro...x 20-25% off tour price. Hassie is knocking the price back to what it cost when Simo first started guiding the tours 10 years ago! $1295 Adelaide to Perth will get you 10 days of amazing sites and experiences! Current price is $1645! This will mean you can get a full tour to Perth or back to Adelaide AND a pretty much cover the cost of a 1 way flight for the normal tour price. Simos family have also allowed me to spread some of his ashes across the Nullarbor route at some of the special places that we used to share and travel to. I’m hoping to be able to bring some friends and family along on his last ride across the big wide as he always called it. 07.01.2022 Ive just got home from tour.. but i thought it best to post from here too.. Sadly our mate Simon 'Simo' Cook passed on last night. Friends and family were with him at the time. We thank you all for your generous donations and all the best wishes that we have recieved in the last couple of weeks. it has been a hard time for us all.. Simo is in a better place now.. flying free. Thank you everyone.

05.01.2022 Simon Simo Cook was living the dream in Thailand. He just completed his Dive Instructor ticket and was ready to show off the underwater world to thousands of travellers as he had done in Australia when tragedy struck and he was rushed to hospital. Simo is paralized on one side and half his brain is not functioning. His family are currently with him and the medical costs are rising by the day. He is still in intensive care and in a coma. We want to eventually bring him hom...e to Australia. . If you have met him, had a beer and laugh with him please support him and his family. Personally Im a tour guide who has worked with Simo on the Nullabor and along side him in the centre. After Speaking with another close friend Jason Westwood we decided we needed to do something. We have created this gofund me page and will also be doing an online auction and an event in Alice Springs to help with the families ongoing costs. We will also be trying to get some things done in Adelaide to help out! The money will be spent on medical bills and to fly him back home and then ongoing care.
