11.01.2022 Steamrail's 2019 calendar is almost complete. Look out for its official release in the near future.

09.01.2022 Our volunteers are currently braving the cold and working hard to get R711 and A2986 clean and ready for their trip to Traralgon tomorrow, marking the third and... final of our annual Snow Trains for 2019. This will also be the first time A2986 has returned to Gippsland since its Inaugural run in May 2017. Once again we will be dropping off passengers at Moe to travel to Mount Baw Baw to enjoy a day at the snow. This train also doubles as a charter for our good friends at The Diamond Valley Railway Inc. They will be traveling with the train through to Traralgon for the day. Some tickets are still available for travel to Mount Baw Baw at trybooking.com/BAYJU Times for this train are below. Please note It is imperative that if you choose to see the train from a passenger platform, ensure you remain behind the yellow line at all times and if viewing the train line-side, ensure you do not enter the railway corridor or trespass at any time and remain well clear from the edge of any railway track. This includes railway sidings, yards (used & disused) and the main lines where trains pass by. We thank you for your co-operation.
