23.01.2022 UPDATE: Due to the inexperience and the fear of playing doubles in this region (its so much fun by the way) we have now changed the competition to just singles, teams of 4 and each player playing a best of 5 games each week. All standards welcome and I encourage the better players to come play and try beat me. cheers Aaron

17.01.2022 WHAT HAPPENED ON WORLD SQUASH DAY? We had 5 people come into The Squash Hub who had never played before and I was saying after the first person that ventured in to play our awesome game, if this is as good as it gets with one new squash player then I am grateful and none knew about World Squash Day and squash was FREE today but we had 5 and after spending a few moments with them they were off and playing until they had enough. Every single one of these people loved it and I know they will play again and to my friend Lyndall who played against me, you rocked it and thankyou to those people that came and had a game. love the energy.

16.01.2022 I just had 2 ladies that are very new to the sport and I asked one of them who owns one of those watch thingys, how many calories did she burn in her 1 hour court booking. 1,167 calories. awesome work Jess n Jo. I love this sport.

16.01.2022 the last post advertising our first in house comp was deleted. Don't ask. If anyone's interested throw me a text on my mobile or give me a call.

09.01.2022 THE SQUASH HUBS SPRING 2020 GRAND FINALS ARE ON THIS COMING MONDAY 7TH DECEMBER FROM 6.30PM. The Competition created relationships on and off the court and some great games of squash each week. It was so close there was literally 1 point seperating 1st and 3rd. Standouts are the new players and the patience others have shown the new players. Pakistani Masters champion for his region Umar the Jaguar Farooq in town and can be found most days honing his skills on the court. What a way to end a pandemic year. The new SUMMER BIG BASH comp starts 14th December and I have everyone continuing playing and we need new players, so come see us at DORA.

05.01.2022 THANKYOU for the birthday LOVE and another 5 setter thanks Ken Melvey, thought you had me but alas the picture tells it all, NEVER GIVE UP. 11-15, 15-11, 10-15, 17-14 and 15-10. Also undefeated Luke Dodd on Line 2 and Dean Robertson on Line 1 continuing their runs of wins as well as Line 3 Paul Galea and Gino Crismale. I know no other sport that ignites all your muscles. 03.01.2022 Tonight this man came into the squash hub and played a comp game. John Carroll the legend. I was saying to him I remember 1988 very well, I was a 16 year old kid itching to play in the Central Coast Super squash team based at Wyoming my back yard, where John was one of the top players in a very impressive comp. 1988 in Newcastle there were 34 squash centres participating in pennants, Grades went all the way down to H04. Lake Macquarie at Warner's bay had 34 teams. 31 years la...ter that 16 year old kid now runs one of only a handful centres remaining at Dora Creek. I remember in 1989 I came to Dora Creek to play super squash. Very blessed to see John run down his opponent Luke Dodd in 5 tonight who was previously unbeaten 17-14 the fifth and I know our good friend Timmy Dann would have loved seeing this photo. #legends #worldshealthiestsport See more
