25.01.2022 PRE FISH BAN/BOUNDARY Prefish Ban for this event will commence Friday 8th April 2016 one hour after sundown. This will mean that any team Fishing Rnd 3 of The Atomic Tasmanian Bream Classic 2016 will not be able to fish during this time. Pre Fish Ban will lift one hour before sunup time Friday 15th April 2016. This means you can pre fish in your own time. BOUNDARY The lower Boundary for this event is a line accross the River from white rock to Taroona. The upper limit for ...this event is Norske Skog. Remember if you wish to fish above the Bridgewater Bridge you will need a Trout Licence. Please remember to follow your marine and boating rules. See more

23.01.2022 Well what an epic day 2 of The Atomic Tasmanian Bream Classic Series 2016. Over the weekend there were 8 bags weighed in over 6 kg. The Swan river areana has put on a show case of some very good size and healthy fish. A very big thanks to Melshell Oysters for letting us use there facilities over the weekend. Also to The Barkmill Tavern for a briefing venue and the Champers for our celebration. Atomic for some Quality rods and lure packs. To The Fishermans Shed for the luck d...oor prizes. Zipbaits for the great lure packs for big bream. Thank you Dylan for your help over the weekend. Must of been hard not competing watching all those great bags coming to the scales. BIG Bream went to Shane Ling from team Zipbaits Tas with a weight of 1.615kg. 5th place went to Team Crusty Crab/Bream Reaper Dean Logan / Leigh Crosswell with 11.415kg. They took home Atomic lure pack. 4th place went to Team EJ Todd Grant Stingel / Steve Bond 11.815kg taking home Atomic lure pack. 3rd place went to Team Zipbaits Tas Shane Ling/Gary Alexander ( STIG ) with 12.050kg taking home Atomic lures and $200 cash. 2nd place went to Team Sportsfish Tasmania Samurai Reaction Rods Patric Sullivan / Leigh McKenzie with 12.375kg tacking home Atomic Lures and $400 cash. Back to back day 1 and 2 WINNERS of Rnd 1 of The Atomic Tasmanian Bream Classic Series 2016 went to Team Bream It On / Nordic Stage Josh Williams / Nigel Harriss with a sizzling 12.775kg Taking home two Samurai Inflict rods from Atomic and $800 cash. 17.01.2022 Tough day at the office today on the river Derwent for the final day of The Atomic Tasmanian Bream Classic 2016. Many teams struggled to find bigger fish today with most of them landing their fish early. Team Cranka BK Custom Rods getting enough weight in their bag to keep the on top of the leader board. Team Bream It On/Nordic Stage Rods busting the scales with the heaviest bag of tge day slipping them into second place. Team Carters Roofing finishing up in third place after... Esther Carter pinned two fish to make up their bag. One happy dad right there. 15.01.2022 Day 1 results The Atomic Tasmanian Bream Classic Series 2016. A great days fishing by all teams. With some of the biggest bags weighed in for the Swan river in 5 years. Weigh in went really smooth with a drive through weigh in. Big thanks to Melshell Oysters for the area and parking during the event. Big Bream for the day was caught by Josh Williams with a cracker of 1.560kg.

Due to Pacific Oyster Mortality Syndrome (POMS), which is not harmful to humans can we all please make sure to dump any water in the boat collected from the Swan back into the swan or at the boat ramp. 03.01.2022 BRIEFING Briefing will be held at St Helens Marine Rescue head quaters situated opposite the blue shed restaurant. Briefing for this event will commence at 8pm. St Helens Marine Rescue will be putting on a Sausage Sizzle for you all and there will be some refreshments available. The BBQ will start at 6:30pm so please come along and support these guys. 01.01.2022 Day one of the final round of The Atomic Tasmanian Bream Classic 2016. Today 21 teams started from The Geilston Bay Boat Club after downing an Egg and Bacon rol...l with tea and coffee. The weather was kind to all the anglers with an overcast morning with a light breeze. Father abs son team Cranka/BK Custom Rods Andrew Crushka/Jonty Crushka hit the top of the leader board with a soild bag of 5 fish weighing in at 6.530kg. Father and Daughter team Carters Roofing Warren Carter/Esther Carter coming to the scales with a 5.775kg bag landing them in second place. Team Ecogear Adam Crick/ Plinio Taurin just scratching into third place by 55grams over the last round winners with a 5.455kg bag giving team Tamar Marine something to chase in the morning. Was great to see most teams landing their bags of 5. Big Bream so far was picked up by Wally Medwin busting the scales at 1.645kg. See more

01.01.2022 Attention Attention The start and weigh in will start from Yellow Sands Ramp this year due to the flood waters last week. On Saturday and Sunday of the comp you will be able to park your cars and trailers at Melshell Oyster farm. We will be setting up the weigh in there aswell. We will have more information for you at briefing. A huge thanks to Cathy and Ian from Melshell Oysters for taking us on board.

01.01.2022 St Helens Marune Rescue will be running a BBQ at Saturdays weigh for all you hungry Anglers. Also Dont forget the BBQ at Briefing. We need to support these guys as you never know when you might need them. This is a on water rescue unit which is run by volunteers. These guys would normally be the first response to any on water incidents big or small.
