23.01.2022 Tonight it's a bicep blitz .. Good to see some numbers are getting around it .. Amazing how some tweaks with tuning food makes a difference .. Little give ins can have bigger implications .. Best not give in to temporary gratification .. Like wedges from Aldi for $1.87

08.01.2022 Well been slack with posting and with selfies but definitely enjoyed the process of getting comp ready .. Finishing the process .. Reflecting and benefitting from discipline .. Take home lessons .. 16/8 worked better as a 14/10 on account of my work - dropped carbs from 240g to 120g a day two weeks out because of a thigh strain and lack of metabolic drive .. Seemed to work ok .. 4x more veggies most important than protein which I kept at 300g and fat at 80g - fasted cardio h...as it's place - carb cycling 3 days up 1 day down 2 day deplete then 1.5 day reload in the comp weeks really worked good and skin got dryer each time .. a full two and half day deplete with a dry reload worked well with water coming down from 6 Ltrs to 3ltrs per day during reload .. Pre stage worked better with more rice cakes and honey/jam from an hour out and 25 mins of pumping than going light on .. Dream tan on top of 'suntan on' worked perfectly .. In the week post two comps I've been loose but not bad with food and training and the body has responded well ... So a late call for Aussies might be on .. Brought up sodium quite a bit to approx. 1200mg per day and water intake is at 4ltr and no retention but more vascular See more
05.01.2022 So our hour of power sessions are amping up .. Wedges and protein bars have been out for three weeks .. Switching from a modified 16/8 style fast ( more a 14/10 .. my logic being overloaded work hours and sleep restrictions .. Anabolic state suffers I think during fast phase .. Additionally larger meal serve size to meet calorie targets means a decrease in digestive efficacy ) The switch up for the next 3 weeks will be grazing on micro meals starting Monday 9 meals - macro 300gP 240gC 80gF ... -400 energy balance (no carb in first and last meals ) 5ltrs of water 1/22kg of bw + 1/hr of training .. re-assess on 1st sept .. 02.01.2022 Got tonight's playlist sorted .. If we live up to the beats it will be epic .. Shoulders triceps tonight at 7 ( invitations there to anyone who wants the magic ) .. Saturday 21st makes it 8 weeks from the big day .. It's more a razor like blitz than comp prep as it's been a year of a more neat maintenance mode rather than a comp inspired year of hardcore, but we're going to have fun with it .. We might even do some vlogs regarding our philosophy as well as some weekly photos to help in keeping to the task and finally embrace this social media stuff ..
