23.01.2022 Cute little town of Sheffield - the town has a heap of history and is covered in murals ranging from the quirky to important historical events. Was quite fun walking around and finding these paintings all over town!

22.01.2022 Rural farms, lookouts, a quirky town called Penguin, fresh picked berries, spotting little penguins nesting, pickled onions, fresh cherries - a great afternoon spent exploring northern central Tasmania

18.01.2022 We are gonna miss this little cracker of a caravan! After 5 months and about 15,000km, it is time to say goodbye! Our little van has looked after us very well! It has kept all 5 of us cool, warm and sheltered, but most importantly allowed us to explore so much of this amazing country we call home... Freedom it was called, and freedom is sure did deliver! Although we close this chapter and come to an end for 2020, new and exciting adventures still await us in 2021!

What better way to spend the afternoon than preparing for a great family dinner - fresh gnocchi (2 ways), warm loaf of bread and an angel cake for desert (courtesy of Orlando of course, our resident pastry chef ). 16.01.2022 Around the corner from the port here in Devonport, we have set up camp off grid at Horsehead Creek. Absolute serenity and a good base to explore around this northern area. Orlando has wasted no time to test the fishing here. We’ll be here for a few days before we head west towards Stanley to start the lap around the island.

14.01.2022 We have made it! A couple of weeks later then planned, but we are now off the mainland and in Tasmania! Amy and the kids flew over from Melbourne and I took the big, slow boat with car and van. It feels like we are in another country... but not. With all of the food, fresh produce, nature and raw wilderness, we can’t wait to start exploring all that Tassie has to offer...
