22.01.2022 Ive regrettably neglected my page these last few months effectively battening down the hatches and braving the storm of 2020 as best we could. Honestly There r...eally are no words for the cards we’ve all been dealt this year - but we do not dare speak its name! it is THE YEAR THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED! Is there a set of horcruxes that we should have been collecting in preparation for 2020 and no-one told us?! Could this have been avoided had we collected all the soul shards of 2020 and Obliterated them before it opened the gates to hell?! WELL?! COULD IT?! It truly has been a SURPRISE MOTHER F@$KER kind of year in our house, with my husband spending months away at a time due to border restrictions, I like my own company, but one can start to go a little nazi-koo-koo when on their own too much We also grieved as we were dealt with the devastating loss of two of our beloved fur babies, within only a few months of each other. Komodo, our Lynx Burman x Ragdoll lost his fight with kidney disease mid July and, unexpectedly ,our Staffordshire Terrier Talyn in October, she had a sudden change in behaviour that led to us discovering she had cancer which had taken a fierce hold and essentially consumed her within two extremely short weeks . Having had both of them as a puppy/kitten, we were lucky to get 9 - 11 years with them, im still grieving their loss and feeling their absence keenly, but we still have Onyx the Scottish fold, Okami the Spitz,and our ever boopable python Raeghar.. With all this going on Its been tough just wading through all thenegative STUFF.its so hard to get myself into that creative mode when theres so much chaos in motion, the positive energy has been dispersed this year and the world feels a little.sparse in energy, to say the least. So In an effort to force the wheels of creation, Ive finally made the move to start getting the equipment I need to start HTV (heat transfer vinyl) garment printing and other vinyl/adhesive applications. I discovered my love for vinyl cutting and application from past employment and have been wanting to start my own ever since - Now I have been building an artwork inventory with the intention of making them available for purchase in prints, garment/tote prints, stickers and pins, plus Custom orders for small businesses and individuals. At the moment its the time consuming process of digitising some of my artworks, reimagining some new ones and waiting patiently for all my tools and equipment to arrive. Honestly looking forward to building my inventory up to make available for all those who might want to take home a little something from my creative world.
