21.01.2022 Meet the cast of 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche! Melissa Wilson as Dale Prist. Oh boy does Melissa take the audience on a roller coaster during the play. She nails the character of Dale and we get to ride the wave of emotions she undergoes on stage.... If you missed tickets to the show, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche is very much a comedy with a twist. Dale, (Melissa) often in each twisty moment! Not a noise can be heard in the audience as she delivers a powerful monologue. But within minutes will have you laughing again with her well played naivety. Melissa has graced the stage regularly with shows by DoMaur Productions, but this is her first with the Ulverstone Rep. Melissa will still be on your mind after seeing the show. She is literally a show stopper!

13.01.2022 Meet the Director! This is Geoff Dobson. He is the mastermind behind 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche. Interestingly, he doesnt much like quiche. This is Geoffs second time directing with the Rep. He previously directed The Bridesmaid Must Die back in 2012. Geoff spends every day in the creative field as a Convention and Arts Centre Director in Devonport. He has a Masters in Fine Arts, specialising in Theatre. ... Geoff only directs plays that unexpectedly moves an audience. Have you seen the show? Did you jump too? Its great to have Geoff back for another directing stint. We wonder what he may bring to the table next time around!

Watch out if she catches your eye when the show starts. ... Michelle is a seasoned performer, director and playwright. She has a long involvement in theatre on the North-West and North of the State. She is the ultimate professional and we are so lucky to have her talent, wisdom and knowledge as part of our society. Chookas for our sold out night two!

11.01.2022 Meet the cast of 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche! This is Cindy Wescombe and she plays the role of Vern Schultz. She rocks a hard hat like no other! While this is Cindys first production with the Ulverstone Repertory Theatre Society, she comes to us with a wealth of experience. ... After catching the theatre bug, Cindy went on to study theatre, creative industries drama and then what really makes her heart sing, drama teaching. We are so thrilled that Cindy has returned to Tasmania after spreading her theatre wings, so that we can benefit from her amazing talent. Cindy and the team are back on stage at 2pm today for our sold out matinee!

09.01.2022 Just a man and his goo! This is Tim Cooper and he has been a massive help with many aspects of Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche. For those who saw the show, this window and the exploding lesbian is truly the most unexpected twist in the show. Thanks Tim for creating the sickest thing on stage that has been seen in awhile. He spent longer than he wishes to admit in creating the perfect consistency of goo with a bang.
09.01.2022 Long time members of Ulverstone Rep. will fondly remember Nan & Stewart McNeair. Nan sadly passed away in Melbourne on Sunday. She was with Stewart and her children. Nan joined the Rep. to have fun. Stewart was already a member and used to go home with great tales of what went on at Rep. meetings so Nan thought I have to part of that. Nan did make it to the stage just once she played a customer/shop lifter in our earlier production of Opportunity Knocks directed by Kerry Gillard. Stewarts involvement was through music his latest show was The Last Resort also directed by Kerry Gillard. Nan was a fun loving person and keen to be part of anything that was going. Our love and deepest sympathy to Stewart and all Nans family and friends.

05.01.2022 Meet the cast of 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche! This is Laura Watkins and she plays Ginny Cadbury. She can mount a table and down a whole quiche like no other! Born in the UK her accent is the real deal. She has stacks of theatre experience from the UK, but after a year backpacking in Australia, and then becoming a speech pathologist and moving to Tasmania, her last stage appearance was 19 years ago. ... We are so glad that Laura decided to jump back on stage for 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche. She is a total talent to watch and I have no doubt this will not be the last time we see her on stage. You will feel sorry for her, clap her on and be surprised, all at the same time. We saved this one for last, because you cant top this photo of her! We are an hour away from our sold out closing night!

Maree will make you want to buy 100 chickens before the end of the show. Or at the very least you will want a dress with chickens on it too. Her presence is commanding on stage. She is the perfect cult leader, oozing confidence and mother hen qualities. ... You will have no doubt seen Maree in many a show before, but mainly musicals with the Devonport Choral Society. We are thrilled to have the professionalism and talent of Maree on our stage.
