08.01.2022 YOUTH ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD- SAMANTHA TAYLOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND DESIGN This award will go to a youth exhibitor who displays great sportmanship to their fellow competitors, kindness to their horse, have a smile for judges and stewards, and compete with that unwavering keaness that we all love to see Judges, Stewards, Marshalls and some select committee and/or helpers will put in votes for a youth that they feel embodies the qualities we are looking for. ... The winner will receive a $150 voucher which can be used as credit towards a photoshoot &/or graphic design work and a lovely garland made by Shiranna Garlands.

02.01.2022 WDARAB Spectacular Show 2021 UPDATE 26/11/2021: Update: At this stage due to the Barastoc Show being held on 13th Feb 2021 we are looking at two dates. Saturday... on the weekends of 23/24th Jan or 30/31st Jan 2021. It will depend on whether we can secure suitable grounds as the Pony Club grounds are booked for those weekends. Looking at the Ballarat Polocross grounds as an alternative.Will keep you updated as soon as we can confirm grounds. Committee has decided to put the date of Saturday 13th Feb aside for the 2021 show. We aim to make a final decision on whether or not the show will run towards the end of September 2020. 01.01.2022 The Victorian Arabian horse community is saddened to learn of the passing of one of our life members, Paul Walker. Paul, Norma and Tracey are wonderful supporters and ambassadors for the Arabian horse in Victoria and Australia. The horses bred under their prefix of Bluegrass have gone on to demonstrate the quality and versatility of the Arabian horse in Australia and internationally. Our deepest condolences to Norma, Tracey and family at this difficult time
