22.01.2022 Tonight we farewell Sir Sam Richardson. Sam has spent the last 7 years here at the Vine! He has had many roles & has worn many hats throughout his time here. From cutting the grass to wiping Ockers ass. Thankfully Sam is free at last!! ... Forget the past, this isnt the end. You will always be our friend. Sam met his wife Jessica Ladgrove at the Vine. They got married at the Vine, they even purchased a house across from the Vine. Things are very fine, theyve had quite a few kids in a short amount of time... 18.01.2022 COMPETITION TIME! Victorian pubs are doing it tough! Its heartbreaking to see just how many pubs have closed for good in Victoria this week alone. ... By the time we reach Covid Normal (Whenever that may be) many pubs would have not been trading at capacity for almost 12 months! What other business can survive 12 months with losing up to 100% of their trade? Its not viable for all pubs to offer takeaway food. And not every pub has outdoor space. We dont need to go into detail just how important pubs are to our communities across Victoria, especially regional. The near future looks more promising for regional Vic & we hope to take a few steps forward soon. We are paying it forward! 17.01.2022 Whyd the chicken cross the road? Because he wanted to get on the beers at the Vine only to be extremely disappointed to find the pubs in regional Victoria are still shut. Hed had enough of lockdown and so he sacrificed himself & was turned into a chicken Parma.
