25.01.2022 We are so excited to be catering for this amazing event! Cocktails for a Cause Read on....... Cocktails for a Cause Manly, is a collaboration between four friends, that love to celebrate life and friendships with a purpose. Each year a charity is selected to support by way of directing proceeds from a major fundraising gala event. With close personal connections to mental health and youth suicide, 2020’s Charity of choice is Black Dog Institute. ... In 2018, 12 friends decided to celebrate their friendship and the end of a wonderful year with a long lunch, raising $650 for Share the Dignity. By the event end, a committee had formed, and a decision made to share the celebration with the wider community. In 2019, 350 guests raised $20,000 for Rural Aid at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron with a large waiting list. In 2020, due to COVID restrictions, Cocktails for a Cause Manly is hosting two events for 450 people 20th and 21st November so as not to disappoint. At a minimum Cocktails for a Cause - Manly hope to raise $50,000 for the Black Dog Institute. Tickets are $65 per person including a welcome cocktail, canapes, risotto station, raffles, VIP pre-party for 10 lucky raffle ticket winners, live auction, music and much more all in a stunning location under the stars at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
