25.01.2022 I know others have done this before but this is an idea for those caravaners with the frustration of limited access of the tunnel boot. Especially having to poke the sullage hose in and out. With a bit of tinkering 2x6m cut down to 5.2m lengths of 40mm storm water pipe and some 75mmx 100mm square gutter clamps have now run a neat little storage for it under the van and while you drive it blows it out dry as well. Have split hose in the middle and have a Retic pipe joiner to make it work. Makes heaps more space in tunnel boot now!

12.01.2022 Living in a caravan lets you understand how much you are prepared to tolerate when it comes to home maintenance issues. A small leak especially when it's above your pillow may have been ok when it was summer but now winter has hit and its been pouring rain for the last week here in SA my patience and stress was getting near breaking point. Water torture as it were! Well with forcast only possible showers today it was ok enough for me to risk pulling the front window out for resealing! And job done with only a few spots of rain during the whole job! Resealed with 10mm tesa tape compared to the 5mm or 6mm original. Should hopefully be apples!

08.01.2022 Heres a travel storage hint for you! I will admit I'm a bit fussy when it comes to potato chips or twisties and i hate when they lose thier crispness! Well seriously Here's a Great little gadget for keeping things fresh in packets and your chips will stay crunchy and fresh! Anyone who lives and travels in a caravan knows the joys of humidity issues in cupboards making things stale. Not any more! Its called a resealstick and better than any other bag clip or sealer we have ever found! We bought ours at the Fremantle markets but have seen them at other markets before but sorry i can't recall where! If you see them Get your hands on them as they will save a lot of wasted food. Or they can be bought online at www.resealstick.com . We are in no way affiliated with these guys we are just impressed with an AWESOME product.

05.01.2022 Just a heads up to save a few bucks on gas. Went to Anaconda today to check out some fishing tackle and was asked if i would like to become a member for free. I said we were travelling around Australia and not sure if i would be back and she said they are all over Aus and 9kg has bottle refills are only $15 which is great value for campers and caravaners! Oh and bbqs as well! Worth registering as a member! And this app shows where the cheapest gas to you is!

01.01.2022 Haha a happy snap of the better half cooking her first ever neighbour fish (Australian salmon) she caught for dinner. Actually tasted a lot better than i remember them tasting. But then Lisa is a pretty amazing cook!
