20.01.2022 Did you know 1 in 8 Queensland women will develop breast cancer at some point in their life, and only 10% of women with Breast Cancer have a family history? A FREE breast screening service provided by BreastScreen Queensland Toowoomba Service is returning to Wandoan (behind the Cultural Centre, Henderson Road), from 5th-10th July 2018. Appointments are necessary and can be made by phoning 13 20 50. *A referral from a doctor is not required* Breast cancer screening uses mammography to check for early signs of breast cancer and is the most effective method of detecting breast cancer in older women. The benefits of early detection include increased survical rate, increased treatment option and improved quality of life.

19.01.2022 New smiling face at the Pharmacy, Rose Young, who has come to Wandoan to take over Katrina's position. Katrina has decided to spend more time with family. Rose has family who live local to Wandoan and the grand children are her magnet to our town. She has happily settled into Wandoan already!
