18.01.2022 Learn why I believe that Industry Super Australia’s (ISA) report on the great unpaid super scandal in which they claim that one in three workers are underpaid $5.94 billion in superannuation is fake news and unfairly labels many employers as exploiting their staff.

12.01.2022 Will this be you, delaying your retirement because you can't afford to retire. Or will you take responsibility today so you can stop working when you want to. Not when the boss or the share market says so. If you want to learn more about stopping work on your terms, my book "Avoid the Poverty Trap - Why Work Hard to Retire Poor" is a great Christmas present to your self at under $10. The link is in the first comment below.

11.01.2022 I was on the train the other night and overheard an interesting conversation. One of the people was talking about a pay rise he just got and was complaining it was not enough. He went on to say he was paid to review 9 documents an hour but could do 20. But he said why bother. He did his daily work in half a day and spent the rest of the day at work doing his own stuff.... This raised an interesting question for me. How many businesses out there operate with unmotivated staff working far below their capacity?

That’s why today is known as Ditch New Year’s Resolution Day or Quitters Day.... So my question to you, are you going to be a quitter? Or are you going to use Naomi Simson’s personal motto If it’s meant to be, it’s up to me and take responsibility to achieve your goals in 2019?

06.01.2022 Joint superannuation accounts for couples can reduce the gender superannuation gap, get more engagement in super and better retirement income projections

06.01.2022 The latest gender pay gap data has been released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics this week. It shows we closed the gender pay gap for women working full time by less than $22 a week in the six years the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) has been in place. This is pathetic, and if we are going to make a serious dent in the gender pay gap, changes need to be made to both The Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 and the funding of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA). Read this to learn more.
