24.01.2022 When last nights dinner becomes today's lunch I usually can't stand eating leftovers. It's definitely a no to eating curry or thai food the next day. It's definitely a no to eating cold pizza from the night before (who's writing this? I don't even really like pizza ) And it's an even bigger no to making a new meal out of leftover food (like turning dinner into breakfast? I don't get it) I understand it's important not to waste your food, and look after the planet, but I guess I just do that in other ways. And besides, I have a 14 year old who usually eats anything from the fridge and pantry That 14 year old just happened to make this meal too

22.01.2022 Yesterday morning when I got home from yoga, I did some more practice (sweaty and red-faced but I was on a mission to keep trying) Remember, yoga is a practice. That’s why it’s called ‘yoga practice’. So that’s what you have to do to get better at it. I still suck a bit at crow pose but I’m getting there. Fear is the thing that holds us back. Especially in these balance positions. In this case, it’s the fear of face-planting into the floor But I’ll keep trying

16.01.2022 Cardio flogged me today I'd choose weights over cardio ANY DAY. But what I do find is that if you've got your mind focused on what you're doing, you're always going to do it better I got flogged because my mind wasn't in the game this morning. It was drifting in and out between burpees and mountain climbers. Keep your focus on the exercise you're doing. You'll always see better results. For body and mind. And hey, it's Friday so there's that to celebrate
15.01.2022 Yoga allows you space and time to leave your shadow self behind Space to breathe. Time to heal. Even if it’s only for 45 minutes. And even if you get back into the car and bawl your eyes out. It happens Be kind to yourself when it does
15.01.2022 Don't make excuses that you don't have somewhere to workout. This is where I train every morning but it doesn't usually look like such a hot mess At the moment, we are updating the kids rooms so this is the dumping ground for old furniture, things they don't want, and the Ikea flat packs that still have to be built (help!) I could make the excuse that there is no room for me to train effectively but it's not true. Excuses are what prevent you from making consistent habits. In reality, you only need enough space for your mat and maybe a little bit around so you can move. Wish me luck with the flat-packing
14.01.2022 How many of you out there have kids that cook? I finished my PT clients at 5.30pm, walked into the house smelling so good and got to sit down to eat this. Recipe by Hello Fresh and cooked by Baxter I taught my kids very early on how to cook, bake, read nutrition labels, and learn about their health. I’m definitely being rewarded for it now Maybe he’ll be a Chef one day

11.01.2022 Often in business we have to ‘pivot’. We need to reassess, take a step back, change things up, move in a different direction, or level-up. For me right now, it’s about taking a step back (just for a while) and finding a renewed sense of passion and direction in my Wellness and Coaching business This means that I’ll be taking time off for now but look forward to returning sometime later in the year. The biggest of THANK YOU’s goes out to all of the beautiful women I’ve trained (photo montage for the memories) Helping you all, has helped me in so many more ways than you could ever know

My favourite is probably Spirit Junkie but if you’re new to talk about spirit, signs and source then a good place to start might be The Universe Has Your Back Trusting that the Universe has my back always allows me to focus and move forward no matter how tough life can seem sometimes
