23.01.2022 Some good news...found this on the CMCA Members Connect site..... For those of you, after a day of travelling, who enjoy a glass of wine around your campsite, a single glass could help you sleep. There is a NEW Wine for Seniors , I kid you not..... Clare Valley vintners in South Australia, who primarily produce Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Grigio wines, have developed a new hybrid grape that acts as an anti-diuretic. It is expected to reduce the number of trips older pe...ople have to make to the bathroom during the night. The new wine will be marketed as 'PINOT MORE' I HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE!!

23.01.2022 Pickering Brook Sports Club WA The western Rovers AGM meeting, 16th - 19th Nov 2018. The video has sound.

22.01.2022 This is very interesting. The CMCA have put together a West Coast Rally website that also allows WA Chapters to use it for events the way I see it. The Wags have been quick of the mark and already used it to help promote their chapter. Good on them, well done. The WCR website is very interesting and I suggest you should all have a look. 20.01.2022 Norm Dobbie’s funeral service was on the 21/02/20 and was well attended by Chapter members and others. There were many eulogies and notes read out about Norm, indicating how much loved he was. There were 18 wearing our Chapter shirt plus a few retired members present. When it came time for the funeral hearse to leave the service, we formed a guard of Honor for the hearse to drive through. Pat was presented with a special plaque to commemorate their time with the Western Rovers and recognise their being founding members. The plaque was designed by Graham and looked great.

18.01.2022 Here's a good tip.

18.01.2022 Today (30/12/18) the WR's received a warning about a phone virus with a request to let all contacts know about a video called Dance of the Hillary. This is a hoax warning. If you come across requests to send it on, just ignore it, there's no point in sending hoax emails to alarm people unnecessarily. Detailed Analysis: According to a would be warning message that is circulating via SMS and social media posts, you should watch out for a video called the Dance of the Hillary... because it is a very dangerous virus that will format your mobile phone if opened. The message claims that a warning about the supposed virus was announced today on BBC radio. It asks that you forward the information to as many people as you can so that other people will be aware of the danger. However, the warning is just a silly hoax. There is no mobile phone virus like the one described. And there have been no announcements about such a virus from BBC News or any other reputable news outlet. A typical example of this message: Tell all contacts from your list not to accept a video called the dance of the Pope. Or Dance of the Hillary It is a virus that formats your mobile. Beware it is very dangerous. They announced it today on the radio. Pass on to as many as you can. It was announced on the radio in USA today. Sometimes it states radio BBC. The hoax started in about 2016 and was originally called Dance of the Pope, later changed to Dance of the Hillary.

14.01.2022 Because of the cost of hiring the Wannamal Hall and the PVPN charge to stay there. We would like to know how many will be attending the February meeting. Could you please reply ASAP. to [email protected] or John 0411 866 512... Also at this meeting, there will be a Hawaiian Burger available for lunch on Saturday @ $2.00 ea. Please let us know if you will be buying a burger. All the burger money will be donated to the Wannamal free rest spot, it is across the road from the hall. Many WR’s have over the years used this rest spot, it is always very well maintained, clean toilets, the barbeque is always clean and operational, firewood is available during the winter months. It’s time we showed some appreciation.

10.01.2022 Thanks to Adrian Patterson from Motorhomes Australia Tyre valve stems. Just a word of warning to motorhome owners when having new tyres fitted. Ensure you use metal valve stems if you run over 60 psi. The standard rubber TR13 stems have a MAXIMUM rating of 60 psi. Metal valve stems are rated 200 psi. Every time I have new tyres fitted they insist on retrofitting rubber stems ....take em off refit my metal ones thank you.
