25.01.2022 Hey everyone, don’t forget our Tuesday sessions are still on every week at 6pm. Message me for more details or to let me know you’re coming

25.01.2022 || homemade hommus || Not only is it better for you without the additives and preservatives, it tastes fresher and it doesn’t come in a plastic container I drained a can of chickpeas and popped them in my NutriBullet along with a 1/4 cup of hulled tahini, a pinch of salt, cumin and smoked paprika and whizzed for a few seconds, I got a lovely smooth hommus and it tastes superb. Of course you can add garlic, lemon juice, caramelised onion or whatever else tickles your fancy. Perfect for dipping our carrots and celery in

23.01.2022 || chewy peanut butter muesli bars || These were a hit and super easy! There are so many crappy ingredients in muesli bars these days, they are barely a healthy snack. This is one I made last week, give it a burl! Ingreds: 1/2 cup peanut butter 3 tabs honey... 2 tabs coconut oil 1/2 cup rolled oats 2 tabs shredded coconut 2 tabs chopped almonds (or any nuts) 1 tab dried cranberries 1/4 LSA 1 tab collagen powder (optional you could also use chia seeds tobind it altogether) Chopped chocolate (sugar free preferably) Method: Stir peanut butter, honey and coconut oil in a saucepan on a low heat, once everything is melted together add it to all of the dry ingredients (except chocolate) Once it’s all mixed together press into a lined tray. Set aside the tray and melt a little bit of chocolate to pop on top. I just used @loving_earth 85% dark chocolate and it worked quite well. Pop in the fridge until set (an hour or so) and you’re done. You can easily change the cranberries for any dried fruit Inca berries would be a nice touch. Keep in the fridge and it should last up to two weeks . . . See more

18.01.2022 || more vegan eats || We weren’t mad about this one after a week of raw salads. This is roasted capsicum, sweet potato, zucchini and mushroom in a turmeric and coconut wrap. I made a lovely relish from cherry tomatoes, honey, smoked paprika, cumin, salt and pepper to pop on the base along with some avocado and spinach. Wrapped up and toasted, this was an awesome addition to our vegan eats while we were detoxing

18.01.2022 || one bowl banana bread || Oh so easy, sugarless and flourless banana bread that uses only one bowl to make! Mix together 3 x very ripe bananas mashed, 1 tab of coconut oil, 2 tabs of shredded coconut, 3 tabs of oats, 2 cups of almond meal, 2 tabs raisins, 1 egg and 1 tab of vanilla essence in a bowl. Pop into a lined or oiled pan and cook in the oven for 40 mins on 180 degrees. Prep time and dishes used are minimal, which is a big plus Give it a burl and let me know how you go!

06.01.2022 || Vegan, gluten free, sweet potato gnocchi || This was a big challenge for me but wanted to try something different. I was invited to a pot luck night with a few dietary requirements. Vegans gluten intolerances and one friend allergic to tomatoes, I made the attempt to cater for everyone and came up with gnocchi. For the gnocchi I cooked up 3 large sweet potatoes and mashed them together with a mix of gluten free flours (tapioca flour, buckwheat flour, brown rice flour and ...besan flour) until it was no longer too sticky to handle. I rolled it into little gnocchi and cooked them up. The sauce is made with 3 grated zucchini’s, I cooked these in a pan in coconut oil on a low heat with two cloves of garlic and a teaspoon of vegetable stock. Once cooked I took the pan off the heat before adding a cup of coconut milk to give it a creamy texture. I mixed the sauce and the gnocchi together and baked it for 15 minutes to brown up the gnocchi a little bit and Walluh! A dish for everyone! See more

06.01.2022 || detox mode || I’ve never really been into detoxes or giving up foods, as I think it can put more stress on the body and mind when you try to avoid foods. Sometimes it can be so limiting that you feel like you’re starving yourself. But having done a bit of research I thought it’d be good to have a crack. I know that I have a few hormone issues at the moment as I’m still getting acne at 28 and this shouldn’t be something that you just have to deal with, it means that someth...ing is not quite right on the inside. As well as having a clean out hopefully I can sort out my imbalance as well. We’ve tried to be creative as possible to keep it interesting as this week has been mostly salads and smoothies. We start each morning with a smoothie packed with as much as we can, avocado, banana, spinach, LSA, hemp, lemon and coconut water has been my main goto. For snacks we have mixed nuts, carrots and celery mid-morning and afternoon. Lunch is generally a green salad, with a few sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, I’ve also been throwing in kelp noodles for an added bit of crunch. For dinner we’ve been having cooked vegetables. Raw foods detox and cleanse our body, whereas cooked foods nourish and feed our body. By the end of the day we have been looking forward to some cooked vegetables whether steamed or roasted. This was a lovely little dish we made. It’s a tahini based satay sauce with quinoa and stir fried veggies. To make the satay sauce: 3/4 cup tahini 1/4 apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup coco amino sauce 2 tabs honey A good cracking of pepper 1/4 cup of water Blend all of this together and you’re done, I just popped it on the side of the veg which we cooked in coconut oil and quinoa which I boiled in water. Topped with sesame seeds and it looks and tastes quite good. We’ve tried to stick to vegetables that are in season and local as possible, so the main ones are carrot, beetroot, zucchini, rainbow chard and beans. Although challenging it’s been a good week, we’ve kept the food up and tried to never feel hungry. Being organised is absolutely key in this See more

06.01.2022 || motivation || we all need a bit of motivation from time to time. Being a PT doesn’t make me invincible to sometimes having a lack of energy to get myself going. I love nothing more than getting home red-faced after a hard workout that someone else has designed, helped me get through, and made sure I’m using the correct technique. It is so easy to have bad technique and not realise as you usually can’t see yourself. Having a trainer not only motivates you to get going, but also keeps your technique on point so you’re getting the most out of your workout. As of Tuesday 5th of February, I will be taking weekly small group training sessions in Colac. Please message me if you’re interested in joining or for more details

04.01.2022 || yeah girl || I’m so lucky to be able to work with so many inspiring women everyday. The ones that have had a terrible day but still rock up to class for a sweat sesh, the ones that are willing to go that extra mile to reach their goals, and of course the other women in business all around me that keep me going everyday. Women are incredible, incredibly strong, incredibly talented, incredibly passionate. Every girl has a fire inside of them, may it grow bigger and brighter... every single day . . . . . #internationalwomensday #thisgirlisonfire #equality #yougogirl #womenunite #fitness #womensfitness #fitnessmotivation #keepgoing # See more

02.01.2022 || two weeks || Sounds boring doesn’t it, and it was but these were the rules of our two week detox. And although it’s finished, it’s hard to go back to eating like we used to because we feel so clean on the inside. My face has cleared immensely, the dark circles around my eyes have dulled and I no longer rely on a coffee to keep me awake in the morning. But don’t get me wrong, things got worse before they got better, it wasn’t easy to go cold turkey on coffee, eggs and che...ese my three favourite things, and my face broke out on the 4th day in and didn’t start to clear until the 3rd last day! On top of these rules we also took a mix of herbs that helped keep us regular and pull toxins that had been stored in our bodies. I find the power of food so incredible, the change in diet also helped with a snoring problem Now that we’re finished, this week we will slowly add things back into our diet as well as take a regular dose of probiotics, this way we’ll be able to find out what triggers our reactions and give the gut a solid dosage of good bacteria See more

01.01.2022 || detox pizza || We tried to sneak around the detox as much as possible so that we never felt like we were missing out. This is a mini pizzas on a paleo base made up of mostly linseeds, there was no dairy, preservatives, additives or eggs in them, which was a win for us. I made up a relish using cherry tomatoes, a little bit of honey, salt, pepper, cumin and smoked paprika to pop on our bases, and then we covered them with whatever veg we wanted, zucchini, roast pumpkin, a... vegan Parmesan made from pumpkin and sunflower seeds and basil. These were so delicious and free from everything we’d taken out of our diets. It’s so easy to get around dietary requirements with a bit of extra effort, making more things from scratch and being creative with what you can have . . . . . #veganpizza #veganeats #detox #healthyrecipes #healthyfood #eatwell #feelswell #makefriendswithsalad #paleo #glutenfree #eggfree #wheatfree #dairyfree #realfood See more
